I would say the last thing we need in Ontario is an NDP government that wants to declare us a 'sanctuary province' so that whatever migrants Trudeau's refugee panel rejects can simply stay here. She not only wants illegals to have full access to government services, she wants them to be able to vote.

TORONTO (Reuters) - Canada’s largest city said on Wednesday it is activating an emergency contingency plan to shelter refugee claimants as it prepares for an influx of migrants this summer, a rare move that underscores the strain caused by the inflow of asylum seekers.

In 2013, city council designated Toronto as a “sanctuary city,” committing to provide social services to people regardless of immigration status, incentivizing illegal immigration to the city.

(And now city shelters are overflowing and the city is pushing up property taxes to pay for the illegals! But I note that Jackass John Tory has nothing to say about the welfare budget that is also being strained nor the crowding that must be developing at area schools!)

Last week, the provincial NDP made the feel-good proclamation that, if elected, they would extend this policy provincially.

(Our idiot Boy and his federal LIE-berals are already making systematic efforts to HIDE the true number of illegals who have already come here! In addition Our idot Boy is in big trouble with city mayors as he has yet to put up any real federal money to help cities whose welfare and social housing budgets are being blown by the swarming illegals- and NDPers want to EXPAND THIS CRAP? Using what for money? The province is ALREADY BROKE!)

While at university, I spent a year working for a solo practice law firm that specialized in refugee cases. I barely made minimum wage but for a progressive-minded college student, it was a dream job.

Working at a small firm, where I was one of only four employees, afforded the opportunity to interact with clients that would not have been available at a larger practice.

I still remember the haunted look on the face of a Bangladeshi man as he described watching his brother executed by a paramilitary death squad.

I remember a Salvadoran farmer, beaten nearly to death while his farm burnt to the ground for participating in an uprising against MS-13 extortion.

Thankfully, while I was there, we never lost a single genuine refugee case. But, for every authentic case, there were dozens of phony claims.

(This stuff is NOT rocket science! WE ALL have read of both true victims and serious SCAMMERS! To bad that our silver spoon socialists see NO DISTINCTION between cheats and victims- they are ALL merely votes to be bought! LIE-berals and Ndpers waste our money and insult the real victims by refusing to be selective in any honest way!)

(We have all read of Anthony Dooley- the drug dealer previously deported from United States- who swiftly came here on a refugee ticket! And his wife Marcia- who also claimed refugee status and then went on to make half a dozen different welfare claims using fake papers! And then there is Randall Dooley- the son Anthony and Marcia slowly beat to death! Or the Russian mobster arrested with 800 forged credit cards at his very fine King City mansion!)

In Ontario, refugee claimants are eligible for legal aid, social assistance, subsidized housing and work permits while awaiting their hearing.

(It stands to reason that we should be selective and swift to judge when it comes to handing out these scarce goodies! No need to cater to fakes and frauds like the wife of Somali warlord Mohamed Aideed- and the TEN KIDS Farrah Aideed brought here- some hers and others belonging to the various wives of polygamous Muslim Aideed! Only tax payers think it is absurd to pay a Muslim woman with ten kids-many not even her own- any welfare money at all- in between her trips BACK to Somalia to take part in govt events with her hubby- even as Aideed sent his troops into the markets to STEAL the food aid sent by western govts to stave off famine in Somalia!)

One Mexican family, supposedly fleeing cartel violence, filed two applications for social assistance as single parents, double counting their three dependent children. Months later, the father went home, more frightened of the Canadian winter than the cartel. His wife remained, collecting both assistance cheques and working full time under-the-table. By the time the Immigration and Refugee Board (IRB) rejected their claim, they could have flown home first class.

Two sisters, also from Mexico, claimed to both be fleeing abusive sicario boyfriends. Upon receiving work permits, they each took two jobs, serving and bartending. They were attractive and spoke charming broken English, which surely contributed to their making nearly $4,000 per month each in tips alone.

(One may ask just how charming one must be to earn that much in tips? The services provided might have been much more than the bar should legally have offered? And we have often heard stories of people under deportation orders who go on stealing/ shoplifting sprees or run up huge credit card debts and ship home all their goods- out of reach of creditors before being deported! LIE-berals and their idiot NDP cousins are encouraging the thieves of the world to come here and loot and pillage in exchange for ethnic voter support- against white people! And the REAL VICTIMS are being trampled and pushed aside in the rush of thieves!)

I don’t fault their industriousness but neither of them (the Mexican girls) attended their refugee hearings or filed a tax return. After eleven months, they returned home with a small fortune.

(One must wonder if the girls worried much about spreading STD`s here? What was the eventual FULL cost of their “visit”?)

In 2009, Harper stemmed the spike in phony claims by restricting the Mexican visa-waiver program.

In 2016, Trudeau dropped the restriction. The next year, Mexican refugee claims more than quintupled, as 75% of those processed in 2017 were withdrawn or dismissed.

When Trudeau tweeted his “diversity is our strength” open invitation, the backlog of refugee claims stood fewer than 18,000. Today, it is 48,967.

(There have been recent news reports that the number 48,967 is a LIE-beral LIE and that LIE-berals are playing very fast and loose regarding the TRUE numbers of illegals here! That 48,000 number appears to be composed ONLY of those that LIE-berals have officially registered in the system- with a SEPARATE new system now in place being used to hide illegals in plain sight- it’s a silly LIE-beral game in which LIE-berals REFUSE to make judgement on the new arrivals at this time! One cannot count the new arrivals as immigrants because they did not go through proper channels and one cannot count them as refugees as LIE-berals refuse to put that label on them- so they have become political GHOSTS- lost in immigration limbo! They cost us huge money to care for and yet officially they do not exist! It is the usual LIE-beral hair splitting duplicity! And LIE-berals have lumped their ghosts in with the homeless in our cities as a further smoke screen- so mayors like Jackass John Tory can sit up and beg for more federal money for “the homeless” who are now a mixed bag of drug addicts, untreated mentally ill and international trespassers!)

Nearly one third of backlogged claims are from Haiti and Nigeria. Last year, the IRB dismissed over half of Nigerian and 78% of Haitian refugee claims.

(And yet now the system is so grossly overloaded there is growing fear that Our idiot Boy will simply issue a blanket amnesty to ALL the illegals- just in time for the 2019 election in which the illegals will be expected to show support for LIE-berals! It is shameless vote buying at its worst- with the added bonus that LIE-berals have triggered a NAFTA trade war with Yankees who happen to take national security issues- and the consequences of unrestricted immigration much more seriously than Cdn LIE-berals do!)

Horwath’s “sanctuary” policy only attract individuals seeking to exploit our generosity, rather than those who need it.

(It is historical fact that the poorest of the Earth find it a lot harder to get here than their more wealthy neighbours- the richer are trampling the poorer in the rush for Cdn LIE-beral charity- one has only to look at the Nigerians flying to United States on LEGAL visas that you can only get if you can afford a ROUND TRIP airline ticket - who arrive in New York and then immediately take a taxi ride to Canada to suck up LIE-beral charity- versus the true poor stuck in refugee camps around the world!)

Ontarians will decide at the ballot box if they want their government signaling to the world we are a haven for economic migrants. In democracy, the people are always right. However, stifling important conversations about immigration policy with false accusations of xenophobia forces people to vote on the issues without a full airing of the facts.

(It does not help that Horvath and her NDP horde have been TOTALLY SILENT about the REAL COST of their “generosity”! And both LIE-berals and NDPers have signalled that sneaky, conniving, dishonesty is a great road into Canada!)

Our compassion for people fleeing persecution is magnificent, and something in which all Canadians should take pride. But attracting illegal economic migrants and prioritizing them equally with legitimate refugees, or the 4.8 million Canadians who live under the poverty line, is bad policy.

Given the current social climate, one is apt to be called a bigot merely for making that point.
