Let's just hope there are competent candidates to choose from in the ridings to keep the party leaders in line.

Unfortunately, in the Canadian system, a Premier or Prime Minister has a whole lot of direct power ... much more so than an American President has (relatively speaking, that is). Your MP or MPP could be just another nobody and all that elvates them from nobody dtatis is their proximity to the Premier. You really do get a lot more "party leader" than that party sitting behind them.

In response to the chant, Wynne – the leader of the province’s Liberal party – accused Ford of running an “angry” and “divisive” campaign. She said: “It’s a very disturbing trend here in Ontario and we all need to pay attention to it.”

LOL That is entirely the campaign she is running. Her entire platform is "oohh look at how scary Doug Ford is" or "look how bad the NDP is at math". Of course, she is everything and worse of what she is criticizing the others for. So if figures she would accuse Ford of being divisive.

To Mr. Tory, Mr Ford and the National Post:

we have all heard and understood your scathing criticism of the federal government for not having a solution for the Trump refugee crisis.

We are waiting for you to reveal what it is.

Taxpayers don't want cuts to services.

Why do you think they booted Mike Harris out?
They didn't. They booted Ernie Eves out.

It's a not "the Trump refugee crisis", there are no US refugees. But just to be sure here, you're upset about the roughly 3000 migrant children that have been separated from their parents since Trump took office, but the 89,000 that were separated under Obama were not an affront to decency and didn't bother you in the least. That about sum it up, you partisan shit pump?
