George Washington University will host a “Christian Privilege” event this week to discuss how 71% of Americans apparently have it “easier” than non-Christians.
The so-called “leadership development” seminar – “Christian Privilege: But Our Founding Fathers Were All Christian, Right?!” – asks attendees to acknowledge the “unmerited perks” Christ-loving Americans receive over those practising other ideologies or faiths.
“Let’s reflect upon ways we can live up to our personal and national values that make room for all religious and secular identities on an equal playing field,” the workshop notice reads.
More specifically, the event looks to define “white privilege” in a way that, it would appear, pits white Christians against everyone else.

“Participants will be able to list at least three ways to be an ally with a non-Christian person,” the syllabus adds, prompting an onslaught of online backlash.
“Just when we thought the idea of ‘white privilege’ was stupid enough …” one Twitter user responded. “This is just sick!”
Another user asked: “You really think they were going to stop at ‘white privilege?’”
And, finally: “I don’t understand why we can’t just look at issues, talk about them and try to resolve them instead of throwing an entire group of people under a bus.”
The, uh, “bus” driver is Timothy Kane, the interim associate director for inclusion initiatives at George Washington. According to his bio, Kane’s duties include ensuring “all types of diversity at (George Washington) are celebrated and meant to feel included in campus culture and student life.”
Quite the celebration, isn’t it?
The “Christian Privilege” event is the most recent example of a host of universities perpetuating growing distaste for those at the top of their “privilege” hierarchy.
Last month, Trent University in Peterborough, Ont., permitted an anti-“Whiteness” event that drew ire from Canadians who viewed the talk as hateful and divisive.
An event organized at Trent University.
Days later, “privilege” posters were pinned up around Oshawa’s Ontario Institute of Technology.

The divisive signs highlighted a “privilege” checklist to form a “more just and inclusive world” through the guise of identity politics.
Good Lord.

Migrants in Israel to resettle in Germany, Italy, Canada: Netanyahu

Thousands of African migrants in Israel will be resettled in countries including Canada, Germany and Italy under an agreement reached with the UN refugee agency, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said Monday.
"This agreement will allow for the departure from Israel of 16,250 migrants to developed countries, such as Canada, Germany and Italy," Netanyahu said.

In the US, the only Christian privilege I see stems from statutory holiday laws. If that's the case, then that should be an easy fix. Correct me if I'm wrong.

Which countries are you referring to? State by State the US has laws that keep non religious people out of certain jobs. But not all states. So that'd be a christian privilege. There is the non quantitive advantage outspoken christians have about their self imposed title earns them. A free pass with their child if you're a pedophile and claim to be christian. Networking streets are opened up to you or closed against you if you're not a christian. etc. etc. Certain religions offer the males the right to abuse their children and their spouses, so that's a privilege. Not openly in Canada or the US, but other countries.

The devil is in the details, as they say. Minus the fact that Satanists have moral guides that look upon these types of things as wrong and against their morals. How's that for fvcked up, eh?

9 satanic principles from:

1. We must strive to always find truth in everything, whether we like what we see or not. Knowledge trumps faith.
2. We do not worship, nor do we pray. We take action to make things happen.
3. We always must view ourselves with pride, for it is vital to see yourself as your own God.
4. We do not shame sexual nor gender preferences. For it is one’s will to love whom they choose and to be who they are.
5. We welcome the relationships of both Monogamy and Polyamory. Love comes in many forms and this choice comes from within yourself.
6.We must protect those who cannot protect themselves, only in ways within the bounds of the law.
7. We never should condone abuse of emotional or physical forms.
8. We must always respect the body of another. For it is their own will to deny or give permission. Never harass or make unwanted advances towards them.
9. We should never engage in deceit of oneself. Do your part in rectifying your mistakes and learn from them to better yourself.

Really? I don't know, so I can't respond to that. In Canada, we do have Protestant and Catholic privilege in the BNA Act and the CCRF in the form of the separate school system, but that has been struck down in at least one province. In most if not all of Canada, we do have Christian statutory holidays but not for other religions. At least in the Canadian context, as far as I can tell, that's as far as Christian privilege goes and both of those problems are easy fixes. Correct me if I'm wrong on that.

Which holidays are christian? We have psuedo christian holidays here. But they all have their origins in Paganism or earlier beliefs.

The christian churches are tax free, would that be a privilege?

What NGO isn't tax-free?

Easter and Christmas have definitely become Christian holidays.

All religions have this exemption no matter what you call your meeting place.

The funny part is that Washington was actually a Deist. He was an admirer of Paine.
