RCMP watchdog to examine handling of Colten Boushie shooting - Saskatchewan - CBC News

Is there an expectation that this review will come to different conclusion from that already arrived at? Are the facts that Boushie and company drove drunk onto private property in a threatening manner, committing theft going to be erased from the record? Is the fact that Gerald Stanley feared for his life going to be overlooked. Would any of this be justice? Was the discrimination perhaps mislabeled? Was the discrimination due more to behaviour than race?

Oh I think they will come up with recommendations on better evidence handling, but there is nothing they are going to find to refute the accidental shooting verdict. Besides the small protest put out by the defence on discarding the vehicle before they had a chance to inspect it, nothing else was refuted by either party except for the hangfire.

Baptiste alleged the RCMP wasn't fair in their investigation.
"I knew right away this wasn't right, the way they did the investigation," he said. "Right from the get go, they looked at it more as a theft or a home invasion or a robbery. They never bothered to even look at it as a homicide at all.
"They looked at it like Gerald Stanley was the victim."

A new level in the heights of denial.

Dead Indians put him in a good mood.

Dead Anybody who barges onto my property causing a commotion and stealing puts me in a good mood.

OK, so that's two groups wherein deaths of their members make you happy, gangbangers and Indians. Any others?

You should back away from your propensity of putting words in other people's mouths. Pete never mentioned "Indians"!

Yes, we know you support the killing of anyone you find unworthy. Though strangely, when your time came to pick up a rifle for your country, you were nowhere to be found.

You should back away from grammar you don't understand. It's "propensity to."

Other than that, have a real nice day celebrating Boushie's death now, hear?

You're dumber than a sack of hammers, I know the meaning of propensity as well as you do. You're putting words in my mouth again, I never mentioned anything about celebrating Boushie's death and as far as fighting for my country is concerned I was minus 4 when the war broke out. "It's better to remain silent and appear a fool than to open your mouth and remove all doubt" Repeat 200 times!

A head honcho from the Saskatchewan justice system was on the news at noon. The appeal won't be happening, there can only be an appeal if a point of law was transgressed, not because someone's feelings were hurt. He said the jury did their job properly as far as he's concerned and really there is no way to determine they didn't unless they possibly failed to follow the judge's instructions and there's a very remote possibility that all twelve erred in their verdict.

And you have a real stellar day being pissed off at Gerald Stanley being found not guilty now hear!

You got the word right simpleton. You just got the words "to" and "for" mixed up. That tends to happen when you use words from Reader's Digest's "It Pays To Enrich Your Word Power".

You'll look a lot less stupid if you just accept and admit you were wrong

The Indians will continue to milk this for as long as they can, and all the Lib Lefites will help them keep this story alive.

I guess it's nice to know that justice appears to have prevailed and the good guy can get on with life! You don't normally expect a chore like repairing a fence to take a turn like this did.

Country folk should be allowed to use guns to protect their property.

Police are totally useless in protecting and responding to calls from those who live in the country side
