Silly question. You know that members of any force cannot disobey a lawful command. If your commander says you're on parade, it doesn't matter who is on the reviewing stand.

Nobody in Canada is that bonkers.

Being bonkers has nothing to do with being ordered on parade. At best, disobeying a lawful command will get you fined with extras. At it's worst, you'll do digger time. It will also appear on your military record.

Is your dislike of Trump worth that? And Trump wouldn't feel a thing.

White House advises government agencies to prepare for shutdown as Congress struggles to pass budget ahead of midnight deadline

White House Office of Management and Budget spokesman John Czwartacki said Thursday evening that "agencies are now being urged to review and prepare for lapse."

His comments came just hours before a midnight shutdown deadline as Congress stalled on a budget bill to keep the government operating.

In the Senate, Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky.) caused a delay, demanding a vote on his measure to keep spending within current limits. In the House, conservatives were upset that the massive package would add to the deficit. Liberals balked over the failure of Congress to act to protect undocumented young immigrants.

The stability of this regime is just so impressive. NOT.

between one scandal after another........ and literally being in a self paralyzed position from getting done........the ineffectiveness of the leadership is evident for the world to see.

but the trumpians will boast: The economy is doing well.........and THAT is all that matters to them.........

Seems like a very narrow measuring stick to evaluate the overall performance of "Trump goes to Washington"

BTW: Like the guy who replaced Sarah today. Less brittle , and ADMITTED that they could have handled the last few days better. ( Word is that Trump is dissed over those remarks. Perish the thought that the press secretary show human qualities and truths.) (and not just regurgitate Trumpisms.)

A government shutdown will begin at midnight. The Senate has recessed until 12:01 a.m. without passing a spending bill.

The Senate planned to vote early Friday morning on a spending bill that would pour billions of dollars into the military and domestic programs while keeping the government operating.

The fate of the bill was uncertain in the House, where conservatives balked at adding billions to the nation's debt and liberals demanded action on protecting young undocumented immigrants from deportation.

The House leadership had advised lawmakers to "prepare for late night or early morning votes."

White House Office of Management and Budget spokesman John Czwartacki said late Thursday that agencies are now being urged to review and prepare for a lapse in spending after midnight.

This is the second shutdown in three weeks.

The rank and file sure aren't going to think much of this arsehole, after marching in the parade to HIS glory .... just in case there are any out there who still do have faith in the nutter. It sure doesn't improve America's security if the troopers think that their Commander in Chief is a wanker.

As usual, it's all for Trump, all about Trump and the consequences of his latest brain turd are irrelevant to Trump.
