'Is that a terrorist?': Prince Philip stuns onlookers as he jokes about a 'guy with a beard' while meeting crowds at Sandringham

Prince Philip had been accused of making a gaffe while meeting crowds at Sandringham, allegedly pointing to a bearded man and asking: 'Is that a terrorist?' The Duke of Edinburgh cracked the edgy joke as he led a procession of guests and royals including the Queen and Sophie, Countess of Wessex, on a walk to the morning service at St Mary Magdalene Church. The 96-year-old, who retired from royal duties earlier this year, was said to be chatting to Princess Anne when he spotted a tall man sporting a long ginger beard. An onlooker in the crowd said: 'Philip was wishing lots of people a Happy New Year and then he spotted this guy with his distinctive beard. He pointed at him in a funny way and turned to one of his Royal bodyguards, saying: "Is that a terrorist?".

on an average day in America there are a little over 43 deaths by violence.

So I would guess that New Years Eve would be an above average day. Maybe say 15% more violence than average so 43 X 1.15 = 50 ish?
