Trudeau himself seemed a bit conflicted when trying to offer an explanation to reporters yesterday.

...we work...uhh...sorry...just trying to reorder the thoughts...uuh...we...umm...worked with...uhhh.........

Why the difficulty, sport??
Because lies are so much harder to remember than the truth.

i havent excused anything...
Sure you have. Your first and only impulse was to start off your posting in here with a strawman. Deflection!
And you continue to deflect from the fact that Trudeau is the first and only Canadian PM to be found in violation of conflict of interest rules. Junior level civil servants have been fired for violating conflict of interest rules and for far less than what Trudeau receieved. Why should the senior level civil servants and the country's leadership be above those same rules?

In fact, you practically justified Trudeau's actions by comparing them to Harper screwing over our veterans and declaring Harper the more unethical.

I can accept that trudOWE didn't know because he was born with a gold spoon in his mouth and doesn't know any better but his office staffs should have known. Then again when you hire based on gender, ethnicity, region instead of merit perhaps not.

Ignorance is no excuse to break the law.

Clearly, this is a circumstance in which tater tot should have the maximum penalties levied against him

Well, it looks like your precious 'ethics' commission has ruined the Trudeau family Christmas. The Trudeau's were on their way to establishing a middle class family tradition of spending their Christmas vacation of the private Caribbean island of their billionaire family friend, and you just ruined it. The Trudeau kids would have had fond childhood memories of panoramic helicopter rides of the Caribbean and monkeys in tuxedos serving them egg nog, but now they're stuck at 24 Sussex crying in their plates of cold Camembert. I hope you're happy.

I don't think the children, whomever they belong to, should be subjected to this sort of vitreallik attack hidden in poetic justice as it would seem. The demands of high office in Canada must be enormous and the opourtunity to enjoy the tranquility that normal Canadians take for granted should not be denied or begrudged our Prime citizen and his innocent family.

Trudeau should call the commissioner a loser and consider it case closed. That's what a new world politician does.

If Justin is as innocent as he claims to be, he must be one seriously stunned bunny to not figure out that you can't accept "gifts" of any kind from any old Khan that wanders into the Langevin Block.

ethics for a leftie PM is so yesteryear

Lefty PMs have never worried about ethics. Mutually incompatible.

Uh oh, it's official. Justin Trudeau is officially the first PM to have been found in violation of conflict of interest laws.
I love his sham apology too. "Gosh Canada, I'm so sorry I knowingly and willingly violated conflict of interest laws."

Of course if he truly was sorry, he would have apologized before he was more or less forced to. Apologies don't mean shit when you've been dodging the issue for two years knowing goddam well you're guilty.

You'll never see Trump admit he was wrong..

That's just not fair. The government should ship all Canadian children to Aga Khan's island.

there is nothing the righties hate more than a lefty with money.

it kills them

No, I think Lefties with money are okay. It's Lefties who make wild assumptions about Righties that irritate the shit out of me.

I don't even think the whole vacation thing was a big deal. Just optics.

What I dislike about this Prime Minister is what he lacks.

BRAINS.

Oh look, another fluffer looking to deflect from Trudeau's unethical behaviour, lies and graft.

You know how Trudeau admires China's basic dictatorship. Well here's something I'm sure he doesn't admire about them and too bad too, the goof could use it.

Members of the Communist Party of China accused of graft routinely disappear into buildings like those behind the grey wall after being placed under a form of extralegal custody called shuanggui. When they eventually emerge – sometimes after weeks, sometimes not for a year – they have prepared confessions of wrongdoing, for which they are then tried in court. Sentences include lengthy jail time, asset seizures and orders to repay large sums of money.

Yeah, how much you wanna bet that's not part of what the f*cking little punk admires about China's "basic" dictatorship.
