Donald Trump uses fatal train derailment to tout infrastructure plan and attack US spending in Middle East

US President Donald Trump has responded to a deadly train derailment in Washington State by promoting his latest policy priority: infrastructure.

"The train accident that just occurred in DuPont, WA shows more than ever why our soon to be submitted infrastructure plan must be approved quickly," Mr Trump tweeted hours after the fatal crash.

He also lamented the amount of money his country had spent building infrastructure in the Middle East, adding: "Seven trillion dollars spent in the Middle East while our roads, bridges, tunnels, railways (and more) crumble! Not for long!"

Infrastructure was something he campaigned on. He saw how popular it was coming from Sanders so his people hi-jacked it. Of course with all the money he has given to the Pentagon/Military and wiping out tax revenue from the top earners his pleas will go nowhere........

THAT is Donald to the core. Self promotion and using whatever means & situations for his own benefit. to do so.

As a person he is a colossal jerk.(and a predator )

The crazy thing is that the track was a new one and this was the very first run on it. So THAT negates his silly bad infrastructure statements. . Once again ACCURACY and FACTS are strangers to him. So tragic , inaugural run....and to have this happen.

Even if ours is the same it don't invalidate my suggestion of the unfolding calamity in the USA, and to add oil to the fire they have no intention of upgrading due to the pending global war. No point in fixing targets, is there.

The train that crashed is a brand new train on brand new track on a new right-of-way on it's maiden run. The Hillbillies from Bugtussle who make up his power base are not capable of detecting the irony.
