When you hear the media chatter about how Trump has deliberately chosen to withdraw the U.S. from the world stage, or to deliberately have chosen as a strategy to lessen America's influence upon the world stage .... it is fake news.
Truth is .... Trump is simply "Managing" the decline of America, just as Obama did before him. It is not being purposely pursued by Trump. It is being imposed upon America by other international forces, and he is only reacting to events that surround his nation.
And all this recent chatter concerning the hardening of the Canada/U.S. border is because as the U.S. economy collapses, many-many Canadians will need to head to a Southern climate just to keep warm because of home heating costs.

I covered the story in Trump Accuses CNN of Purposeful Fake News "Fraud on American Public".
In a nutshell, three news outlets, starting with CNN and followed by MSNBC broke a bombshell story on Trump that false. CBS jumped on the bandwagon but later blamed CNN.
Supposedly, multiple, credible sources said Trump had access to Wikileaks information on Russia before Wikileaks posted it.
The story timeline was false.
Coverup Begins
Days later, CNN refuses to disclose its sources or say what happened.
