If they get Trump it will be in obstruction. Given the climate today he should resign based on the claims of 16 women.

I have feeling the GOP will turn on him after this tax bill is passed.

They will e happier with a president Pence.

He has?

Why?

Wonder what he is telling Mueller to save himself and his son?

Hmmmm?
Apparently there were a list of charges , but he was only charged with lying to the FBI............which "suggests" that he has something important to give up to Meuller. He was close to Trump for sometime.... so he might know where a few OF the bodies are buried. Trump did ask Coomey to go easy on him (not a direct quote) He tried to obstruct the investiagation .......but Coomy did not go along. Trump fired him.

Flynn flipping is a major break for Mueller — and bad news for the next big target
Flynn plea deal suggests U.S. special counsel knows more than he’s letting on

Flynn flipping is a major break for Mueller

Still no interpretation of events, OB? Still no understanding of what's happening? I thought so.

No one on this forum knows the details of the investigation. Those who think they do are getting information from the media. But the media only gets what they are given.
---

Let's briefly review what is going on.

A special counsel, Robert Mueller, was appointed by the acting Attorney General of the United States, Rod Rosenstein, on May 17th 2017, to conduct an investigation into the Russian government's involvement with the 2016 presidential election. This normally would fall to the Department of Justice. Mueller's appointment was decided because it was believed there might be a conflict of interest, should the DoJ investigate themselves. This ensured fairness.

The purpose of Mueller's investigation is to discover if the Russian government interfered with the election. A "fair and through investigation of the Russian government's efforts to interfere in the 2016 presidential election.**"

As this investigation progresses, Mueller (or members of his office) are authorized to question, and, if there is evidence, prosecute anyone for federal crimes that come to light during the process. These illegal activities can be committed by Democrats, Republicans, or anyone else.

The AG's letter is clear, as should be your understanding: It is not a document aimed specifically at President Trump. He was not named.

But he is president, yes. Regardless of who held the office, it was vital to discover if anyone involved with the winner's campaign acted illegally, and if that illegal activity concerned the Russians. It is not "pursuing Trump, in order to obtain a conviction". Because Trump is president of the United States, his election campaign was named specifically in the letter of appointment. Note that had Hillary won, her campaign would have been named.

Many people, like OB, think that Mueller's appointment is about investigating Donald Trump. It is not. The investigation is not about a specific person. It is about protecting the integrity of the office of the president.

The investigation will go wherever it needs to, in order for there to be a successful conclusion.

A copy of the acting AG's letter is here.

Bullshit. You don't have a problem with it. You have problem with it being used against Trump. If it was used against a sun-worshipping, pagan occult globalist new world order president you'd be all for it. You'd find out that it actually is constitutional (because it is) and argue up and down how it's an exemplar of democracy and the American system of checks and balances.

Robert Mueller does have a check on him and guess which branch of government he falls under! I'll give you three guesses. The answer will blow your mind.

Robert Mueller is a political attack dog without a leash. The antecedent of the Special Prosecutor's Office was the Star Chambers of 15th to 17th Century England. These were juridical bodies characterized by strict, arbitrary rulings and secretive proceedings in service of a political cause or clique. They began with the most benevolent of motives of holding prominent people to account but became ever more corrupt and draconian by way of their secrecy and co-option by ideological agendas.

And we are in a Sun Worshipping, Pagan, Occultist, Globalist New World Order. And i know the only remedy will be a popular revolt. It will never be done by the subterfuge and trickery of a Special Prosecutor whose primary role is the protection of the established order. The only question is how far things will have to fall apart before it is fomented. The current economic and cultural paradigm is unsustainable and untenable and is already disintegrating. Trump, Brexit and other signs are an avant garde of a growing rebellion, which why they are so threatening to the Establishment.

And i'm well aware that Mueller is an agent of the Executive Branch by way of the Justice Department. But the legislation creating the office comes with a poison pill. A Catch 22 and precedent established during the Watergate era. A President who fires the Special Prosecutor is deemed to have Obstructed Justice.. an impeachable offense. As i said the office is completely self enclosed, self protecting and responsible to no one but itself. It operates independently of the American Constitution. And like our own Supreme Court of Canada with its weapon of the Charter it has become rotten with corruption.
