More of an infomercial than anything.

to clarify : I do a thumbs down on anyone that talks about a poster and NOT about the subject at hand. I happen to think that any form of poster bashing is a very low form of forum participation. There is so much valid stuff to discuss .....so why do it?? If a poster persists in poster bashing and offers little else..... he/she is put on IGNORE as I refuse to read any of that pettiness..You've hit the nail right on the head Murphy, which confirms my contention that there's a couple of posters that drop "reds" on people are displaying crass ignorance! If you disagree or don't like something, a brief sentence of explanation will suffice. It's just one of those little things that separate the classy from the classless!
Now fellow forum members: there is no need to make assumptions about Me or anyone else. here.
Now back to topic. America Under Trump...... and thanks for the challenging discussion and otherwise good ideas you all have.
I wouldn't say I've NEVER bashed a poster but 99% of the time I have, is only after they took a swipe at me. As you may have noticed with me there is one poster on here who very seldom misses an opportunity to give me "red" whatever I post. That's quite alright, I don't really give a sh*t, as I've said before buffoons who pull this sh*t are only hurting themselves in the long run. You may have noticed I don't hand out, "reds" but if I disagree I might let the guy know but I'll always give a reason!
I see now I just got a "red" from you!!
I see the ignoramuses are running rampant today!

Disagreeing is just fine. IMHO.....that is what a stimulating discussion is all about too. In fact it is healthy. My only contention is POSTER BASHING. . I give a few "greens" myself, not because I agree necessarily, but also because the post is well thought out.
You post negative articles about Trump under the guise of "simulating discussion", but that is a lie. If it was true, you wouldn't call Trump names or constantly call his motives into question with snide comments.
There is a marked difference between what you do and stimulating discussion. I have zero tolerance for people who say one thing and do another. If you could manage to go more than two or three posts without the insults, myself and others might be inclined to agree with that statement. But you cannot. It all goes back to the hate. You cannot resist posting disparaging remarks.
You do have the chance to reverse that. Pretend that you wish to stimulate discussion.
1. Remain neutral.
2. If you cannot remain neutral, state your reasons in an adult fashion. That means no insulting tones. No pejorative nicknames.
3. State whether it is an opinion or something based on facts. Opinions are fine, as long as people understand why you feel the way you do. Saying things like, "The Trumpster doesn't care about anyone but himself." or similar, without some explanation, is not discussion. It is a juvenile insult.
It's not difficult to do. More people would take you seriously if you act like an adult.

Maybe with a wing nut like Pukin, it's better to try and get along than to make an issue out of past history. What good would it do for Trump to say "Look Pukin, you're a liar"? What happens from now forward is much more important than what happened in the past. Trump would be wise to remember that!

Of course getting along with Putins Russia would be the wiser strategy......... but it is HOW it is done. Don't think fawning over Putin and defending ;him the way Trump does is smart. Putin is no fool Trump is behaving like he is everyone's fool Putin knows this. I'm not sure if Trump has the luxury of the time and place right now. He's travelling with other World Leaders to on a trade mission and it's probably not the right time to rock the boat. The election of 2016 was over.................a year ago. Probably time to drop anything to do with it. He won the Presidency, what more has he got to gain?
It is not a question of what he has to gain. It is a question of what transpired as per intelligence info........and holding the responsible accountable. It is NOT right for another nation to interfere in another election process........regardless of which country it is and who is running. Elections are a countries unique protocol........and at the very least it is illegal for another nation to even consider tampering with the process. If Russia gets away with affecting the US elections........ what will it do next?? It also makes the electoral process highly suspect now.
If Trump and his gang did nothing to encourage Russia to assist him win.......then he has nothing to worry a bout and should simply let the investigation run its full course and come to a conclusion. He should NEVER interfere with the investigation as it is not his business. But he acts like he is guilty........of something........and would have no problem aborting the investigation........ if he did not get a lot of opposition to it. That would be obstruction of justice and make him look even guiltier.
