Why does it matter? Are they blue collar workers too?
Any time a family loses their primary income it's tragic.Because that would be super tragic.

This is exciting news. Now to kill Kinder Morgan.
Isn't it funny how some of the places with the most problems are heavy oil producers?
Saudi Arabia
Venezuela
Russia
Nigeria
Your point being what?
Laughing at another countries 'problems' may tickle your fancy but I find no joy in knowing what the people - not the governments - of those countries are enduring.
I've never seen conbots so scared.
What 'global warming' aficionados fail to appreciate is the simple truth that the climate is changing and there is nothing that us humans can do to alter that. It is complete hubris to think otherwise. The climate has changed numerous times over many millennia. The spending of billions of dollars here in Canada under the guise of helping the climate is sheer lunacy. And what if we did indeed drop our emission by a large percentage? How are you going to keep the pollution that comes across our southern border at bay? Build a wall? Pollutants exist in our atmosphere. The same atmosphere that covers the entire planet. The only solution is to cover the entire country in a gigantic dome and good frickin' luck with that.If only they channelled their energy into something real, like global warming.

In the mean time, God bless Royal Chinette.
If TCP can't make a profit then it should be shut down. Lac Megantic here we come.
Don't bet on that. Anything crossing the continent and remaining on Canadian rails has no choice but to go through GTA considering CN's line is gone from Capreol and CP's is severed beyond MattawaWell, those trains full of crude won't be rolling through the GTA but they will be clickety-clacking right through urban Montreal on both main lines, now. I wonder if anyone mentioned that to the Quebecers?

It's the long way around. The GTA is on branch lines only. It adds hundreds of miles to run down here.
Not when CP bought BNSF and they come from the south.
