If there is intelligent life out there and our technology outstrips our intelligence, they would nuke us in a minute to prevent us from contaminating the rest of the Universe.
"Proof that there is intelligent life out there is that they have not bothered to contact us."

You can't exceed the speed of light and neither can they. We will never meet aliens.

and at one time the prevailing thought was that you could never exceed the speed of sound. Never say never. Mankind has always managed to go beyond what "can't" be done.

Also proof that we are no where close to being considered intelligent.

My thought is that there are other habitated planets out there and are either like ours and haven't yet developed to the intersteller travel phase ot they already have and don't want fuk all to do with us.

It's been over a century of pretty intense examination and experimentation and Einstein has yet to be proven wrong. It's not necessarily just a matter of faith. You can't "make it so" by believing in it a bit harder.... with a little bit more elan.

Then there is anti-gravity and being able to fold space to go from point A to point B in minutes. They already have been experimenting with anti-gravity and will, no doubt, figure out how to fold space in the not too distant future.

And yet meaningless.

ah...you don't mean that!

5 things Albert Einstein got totally wrong
A notable error shows up in Einstein's most famous work: Relativity.

Quantum mechanic's bizarre properties suggest particles can be in two states at the same time, and can send information to one another faster than the speed of light.

But we're getting closer and closer to proving that quantum mechanics is real. So Einstein's failure to accept the theory may become his biggest blunder yet.

Yeah but you believe that the world is getting colder, too.
