Soooo Conservatives used to spend tax dollars like drunk sailors on shore leave? And there's a difference between trade and multilateral trade agreements. The latter are utterly stupid because it's just a big shell game.
Unlike the progtards and their hug-a-terrorist ideals. Which is just working soooo well.
But what I find really "interesting" about so-called progressives is how they want govt to control every aspect of our lives, from what we should eat to how we should think. I guess you are correct in your assertion in one small respect. Progressives are actually quite lot like the ol' right-wing Christian Moral Majority in the US. They both have the same attitude of, "I don't approve of this therefore it shouldn't be allowed" or "I approve of this therefore everyone else has to go along with it."
Neither are they the least bit interested in open, honest criticism, debate or discussion. Their idea of compromise is for you to give in to them.

It was called the Progressive-Conservative Party because it was the result of the merger between the Progressive Party and the Conservative Party. When that party in turn allied with the Alliance Party, that is when the old "Progressive" part of the name was dropped. It seems that the very existence of the centrist ProgressiveParty has been erased from our history. They were not nearly as far to the right as the Alliance types from the West that replaced them are.
Progressive Conservative is an oxymoron anyway, and that works out because most cunservatives,at least the ones on here,are total morons,soooo..

Two people try to 'expose' Islam by sneaking into mosques. It backfired, badly
Sandra Solomon, describes herself as "devout Christian and follower of my beloved lord Jesus Christ" on her website.
She is currently touring the US, Canada and Israel to show the world what she claims are "the perils of Islam".
Last night, a video of her emerged on Twitter, after being shared by Middle East Eye columnist CJ Werleman.
In the video, Solomon and a friend she identifies only as "Jesse" put on burkas and go into a mosque in Calgary in order to "spy on Muslims".
They encourage other people to go into mosques wearing a burka in order to "expose islam".
The video appears to have first appeared on her YouTube channel but was removed for violating the site's terms on 'hate speech'.

No political system has been done right. Capitalism certainly hasn't. Any system that concentrates half or more of the wealth in the top 10% of the population and leaves everyone else whatever is left certainly is not working the way it is supposed to. Democratic socialism, however, not Marxism has gotten a lot of things right; like public schools and hospitals; public highways; national parks; health care pensions, and so on.
I love it when someone mentions socialism and the right freak out. Reminds of the old song from a 60s MAD magazine:

Right , it was democratic socialism . Our highways are falling apart , our school system is more of an indoctrination system than an education system . Health care is always underfunded .and we are still running 30 billion deficits federally and only B.C. is running balanced budgets among the provinces ( which is about to change ) democratic socialism is great .
With regards to your 10% having all the money and all the funny , that is b.s. , but even if true the 10% is still open to any who can reach it ( even you ).
