His vision was "we have to get rid of Trudeau". That would only be a viable electoral platform if Trudeau was deeply unpopular.

Or get money. He sent out an e-mail asking for donations hours before quitting.

In my part of the country it would be very hard to find anyone more unpopular that trudOWE.

ANyone with a french accent is an non starter west of Winterpeg.Or a Toronto address.

It was the plan all along. I'll be voting for Kellie.

And I'll be happy to cancel out that vote with my own. Never thought Id join the Conservative Party but this leadership race was too much to miss out on.

I'm relieved that he backed out and am not surprised by which candidate he chose to back instead. For the last few weeks Bernier seems to have been gaining ground.

I have no doubt of that but its not like he was ever popular there to begin with. Im actually really surprised that he is still as popular as he is here at this point.

His excuse doesn't make sense. Stephen Harper won a majority without winning in Quebec.

He did, but he did it by winning everywhere else. I doubt O Leary could do that.

What is your best guess on the federal debt at the end of this 8 years with this idiot at the helm?

No worries the budget will balance itself

All the little old ladies in Qualicum probably love him.

Why do I expect a Simon & Garfunkel song in the background?
Or the Partidge Family theme song.

250 billion more than when to he over from Harper. His old man managed to run up over 400 billion in 16 years and the dollar in those days was still worth sumpin!

Deeply unpopular maybe not! A joke......................definitely!

I hate to say it but as it stands im probably going to vote for the duplicitous NDP.... That or hand in a blank ballot, again...

You don't want to cut off your nose to spite your face! :)

Would you like some cheese with that?

You have a more accurate figure in mind? Let's see it!

That Harper majority was won because of a strong NDP splitting the vote. And it also came as a surprise to conservatives who expected another minority.

The Harper majority also came about because of the Liberal Party's limp biscuit leadership that totally lacked credibility. The Conservatives had assets like Jim Flaherty and the Liberals had a lot of spent boozer left-overs from the Chretien years, whom you couldn't trust to run a lemonade stand without them losing money.

I understand your deli ma but a vote for the NDP is like voting to destroy the economy the country.Of course your grand kids will be picking up the tab so it doesn't matter.
