Your question presumes that the French all sound the same, and that any Francophone Canadian accent sounds anything like any French accent.

I think a lot of people would question that. From what I've gathered over the years, I think they've outworked the Liberals by a fair margin.

agreed. Most people underestimate how much good legislation was passed while the minority government was passing things, and the official opposition wasn't opposing it

The Liberals pretty much swept the country. The NDP paid a heavy toll as did the Conservatives by calling a snap election. Harper gambled and lost.

the liberals got about 38% of the popular vote, wasn't that about what harper got when they won a majority?

Kevin O'Leary has been the most successful Conservative leadership candidate! Name one person in Canada who's learned more than Kevin O'Leary.

The Conservatives got more of the popular vote in 2011 than the Liberals got in 2015 but only slightly.

Popular vote doesn't count in Canada (as it shouldn't). It just sets the stage for parties to load up in ridings like West Vancouver or Point Grey and winning the election. :)

That guy may be a little overwhelmed with his perceived view of his self importance, but maybe that would be a good thing as he and Justin might destroy each other! :)
