Trump vs. Obama vacation expenses just got released and the numbers are disturbing

According to recent reports, President Trump has spent as much on vacations to his luxury resorts in 3 months, as former president Barack Obama spent in two years as president.

Trump has cost the country at least $24 million in accumulated travel expenses for lavish trips taken to his Mar-a-Lago resort in Palm, Beach Florida, so far he has spent 9 out of 11 weekends there with each vacation totaling around$3 million. Obama spent $24 million on travel over the entire first two years of his presidency.

Trump frequently criticized Obama for “playing golf all day” before his presidency, which only adds the hypocrisy.

While our wonderful president was out playing golf all day, the TSA is falling apart, just like our government! Airports a total disaster!

At a campaign rally last year Trump said, “I’m going to be working for you; I’m not going to have time to go play golf,” according to CNN.

According to Independent UK, during Obama’s two-terms in office he spent $97 million, which adds up to be around $12 million per year. Trump is set to exceed the previous president in expenses in only his first 10 months, spending $10 million in just the first 3 of his 11 “golf course getaways”. The recent visit by Chinese President Xi Jinping at his Florida resort has set Trump’s trip expenditures at an average of $2.4 million in tax dollars per week.

The Trump administration plans to make $597 million in tax cuts to government-funded programs. That’s just short of the $600 million in projected security costs for Trump’s Mar-a-Lago visits over the course of his term.

Instead of the budget cuts proposed by the Trump administration to education, social security, and creative arts programs, it seems clear that if Trump would only decrease the burden of his travel costs he could avoid making unnecessary cuts to essential government programs all together, while simultaneously achieving his goal of making a historic $54 million increase in military spending.

Trump says, ‘I have won awards on environmental protection’ — EnviroNews says, ‘Bullshit!’

At a town hall meeting at the White House for CEOs and business leaders on April 4, 2017, President Donald J. Trump repeated a claim he’s been making a lot these days: “I have won awards on environmental protection” (of course he never tells anybody which ones).

Regarding environmentalism,] the short answer is: No. Media outlets and environmental groups have tried to find evidence of this claim since 2011 but have come up short. We could not readily find references to Trump’s environmental awards in news coverage over the past 10 years. We checked with the Natural Resources Defense Council Action Fund, the Environmental Defense Fund and the Sierra Club, and none had any record of Trump’s environmental awards.

EnviroNews concurs with the Washington Post‘s assessment, as we haven’t been able to find any evidence of Trump’s purported environmental home runs either. Regarding a Trump speech in Scotland over an environmentally controversial golf course project, the conservative Wall Street Journal reported:

“I would consider myself an environmentalist in the true sense of the word,” Mr. Trump said, a comment that drew so much laughter from the public gallery that the inquiry chairman had to call for order.

Strange how Eagle never said that to Wally when he compared President Obama along with every lib/moderate or whatever in the planet with Hitler.

A note on Holocaust Remembrance Day: Anti-Semitic incidents rose 86% in first three months of 2017

On this Holocaust Remembrance Day comes this appalling news:

Harassment, vandalism and other hostile acts against Jewish people and sites in the U.S. increased by 34 percent last year and are up 86 percent through the first three months of 2017, according to data released on Monday. [...]

Greenblatt added that his organization’s report, which was released on Holocaust Remembrance Day, shows that public officials must do more to denounce anti-Semitism and find ways to make Jewish-Americans feel secure.
And what is the cause of this upswing in hate? The Anti-Defamation League isn’t assigning blame but notes that:

… the ADL has tracked a resurgence of neo-Nazi and other hate groups in recent years and noticed that extremists felt emboldened during the presidential election. [...]
In many bigoted incidents since the Election Day, alleged perpetrators have mentioned Donald Trump.

Welcome to the world of Trump.

Sheesh, me stupid, I should have known you'd be reading it and used the purple ink. :)

The problem is something that ridiculous is just the kind of thing I'd expect from you. There's no way of telling if you're joking or not because your kneejerk defenses of Trump have reached depths of human foolishness previously unknown to science.
