Exceptions would be instances where a nation is fighting for its own survival, in genocidal war and such. There are doctrines of 'just' wars, despite all of their collateral damage. He appointed a judge in Gorsuch who is explicitly pro Life, and wrote a book on the dangers of assisted suicide. So actions count more than political statements.. especially with Trump.. who always tailors his comments to his immediate audience.

It should be 'is'.. the foundation of Christianity IS a sovereign individual Free Will informed by a God given conscience. And i'm reluctant to call the theological spawn of John Calvin as 'Christian'.. although many philosophers trace the moral apology of Global Free Market Capitalism as stemming directly from his doctrines.

The fall of the NT Church was in prophecy. Da:8 and the 'little horn verses', they money changers of the Gospels got away with all the gold in 70AD.The RCC works for them rather than it being the other way around. It is 'somewhat important' that you get that one point. Peter and the other writers of Scripture wrote what they were supposed to. Copies of those works are carried to the far reaches of the earth and that is how they spread the word about the Kingdom of God. The Book is all there should be, the rest is part of the business or salvation.

If they can fail even when they have the right directions what is the chance they will start accidentally doing the right thing for no apparent reason??
