Strange how people who have grown up since vaccines were created seem to have lost any recognition of how bad these diseases were.

Have some pizza, fuktard.

and so, doomed to be repeated, eh?

I'm sure that their children will thank them sooo much for being so uninformed and unwilling to learn the facts, rather then looking for what corroborates what they feel about it.

From a psychological perspective, people who believe in such things with verifiable proof to the contrary are quite fascinating. Usually disenfranchised with a need to feel they know something nobody else knows, which in turn makes them special. Too bad it's their children that will feel the brunt of such a need for feeling special.

well if it were real medicine it would simply be called medicine. Since they can't say medicine, they say "alternative". and yes, I must be a communist, of course. it all makes sense. now, dont' it?

It is mostly Big pharma and their adherents that insist on calling it alternative medicine.
Big Pharma hasn't really tried to cure any disease since the success with Polio, which is basically nonexistent which cost them a lot of customers. The object is to create a medicine that keeps a customer alive to purchase the drug for a long time. All about money, nothing to do with healing.

or maybe lizard people?

people talk about big pharma as if there were something other then people running it.

I've often wondered about that. If you're so damn sure Pfizer is crooked why not call out Ian Read? Too spineless I guess.

I remember Polio around us, although I was part of the very first group to be innoculated against it. It is a nasty, crippling disease that particularly afflicts the young, vital and healthy. Another disease that has been almost forgotten about that is really devastating is the bovine tuberculosis that we used to get before our milk was pasteurized. I met a woman who had contracted it on a family farm back in the 1930s. Her body was seriously bent, twisted and deformed from the disease. The affects are quite horrible but most have either forgotten about or never knew about why we pasteurize our milk and therefore think that it is either unnecessary or a bad thing. They didn't start pasteurizing our milk because of some agro-biz plot to adulterate our food, to ruin the flavour, to make milk less nutritious. They did it because our forbearers got tired of burying their children.

Lest we forget?

Too late. Most have.

You'd better move into a hidden cave in the mountains and study herbal medicine cures.

Everyone has it out for you, Cliffy. The Mounties have been following you for years. I know this because I feed them information daily about what you post here. Your dossier is several terabytes large.

Yes, I am aware of the dossier the Mounties have on me and yes I have spent 10 years living in the bush and know all the medicines out there. They have even investigated me as a terrorist. I'm 70 years old and don't give a shyte.

I could have told you that, but you wouldn't have believed me. You should start seeing a shaman. We know you're 70 and we don't give a schittte either.

That's not entirely true. There are four individuals that play with an implant you have. I occasionally direct photons and valence electrons at you that are emitted from your screen. You can never escape.

I'm seeing a shaman this weekend and I have shields built in my computer room to block your electrons and photons, cuz I know everything aboutchu and your nefarious deeds. Two can play this game and I've been at it for a lot longer than you.

The inability to produce verifiable proof decided this case.
Your opinion carries no weight against results. Have some more artificial sweetener.and a side order of SSRI's. Why not pour a nice warm bath of LYSOL.

That's your obinion and you are welcome to it. If you think herbal remedies are quackery you must think iodine and codliver oil are quite useless. Like I've indicated earlier the human race got here to this time and place by exactly the stuff you denegrate. That is called illogic. Has healthy food been eclipsed by synthetic potions? In your mind and no where else. But you persist in your error and have some more Vioxx.
Vioxx: This Pharmaceutical Drug Killed Over 60,000 People no quacks there I suppose.
