Hunger and World Poverty. About 21,000 people die every day of hunger or hunger-related causes, according to the United Nations. This is one person every four seconds, as you can see on this display. Sadly, it is children who die most often.

Read and weep! Use facts ad not emotions. You need to back off and figure out why this upsets you so much.
That sounds like a great reason for us in the western world to abort our babies and send a bunch of dough to support dictators in the third world . They will surly use that money to slow their countries birth rate .

So why the fuss when a woman brings her baby to term and promptly dumps it into the trash ?
Was the woman married? Could she afford to have an abortion? In Canada we do not pay but many places the payment is stiff. Did she know of the right to leave that baby in a public institution anonymously? How old was the mother?

The fear and shame of being pregnant while unmarried, is still treated as a stain on a woman's character by many in today's society. How do you treat those women?? I am old enough to remember how some unmarried girls were treated when the got pregnant. Not nice. I had an uncle who used to read out from the daily paper how many back alley abortions there were. Why were they published?? Because they had bled to death. Even if they had not bled to death, they were often infertile afterwards.

Facts of Canadians who've starved their kids?

Deliberately starving a child the the only way it happens in Canada.
