No, it isn't, in point of fact. George W. Bush didn't murder anyone, and Chelsea Manning was not imprisoned for treason.

But it's OK, I'm not calling you a liar. Cliffy is the liar. You're just dumb enough to believe him.

Given Cliffy's tremendous intelligence, I somehow doubt that Cliff himself REALLY believes if!

Got nothing to do with his intelligence, it's about his raging case of chronic butthurt. Whatever reinforces that, he believes. Regardless of how false or just plain stupid.

Charles Manson didn't murder anyone either.

He was originally charged with Treason but to insure a conviction the charge was changed to espionage.

A military judge’s rejection of the treason charge against Army Private First Class Bradley Manning has reignited debate over the very meaning of the word.

Manning, who provided tens of thousands of secret documents to WikiLeaks, was convicted this week of espionage and several lesser offenses. But he was acquitted on the charge of “aiding the enemy” -- the Uniform Code of Military Justice’s functional equivalent of treason -- and controversy persists over whether he was or was not a traitor.

No, but he was there which in itself apparently makes one just as guilty as the perpetrator! (At least that's what our parents taught us) :) :)

given his intelligence, it is probably true., and I don't need anyone telling me how George bush
conducted himself, speaking of pawns, if that is what I was being called, he was one, definitely, and
also speaking of dumb, as I was called, he definitely was that, don't know how they hid the
strings, that he hung from, up todate technology I guess.lol

I'm sure you think that's somehow relevant.

He was originally charged with Treason but to insure a conviction the charge was changed to espionage.
Are you just hysterically wrong, or are you deliberately lying?

Here are the charges against Manning. Please note that they are all charges under the Uniform Code of Military Justice. If any of the charges were not under the UCMJ, Manning could not have been tried by court-martial, because courts-martial only have jurisdiction under the UCMJ. There is no article of treason in the UCMJ.

Utter crap. Which is about what I'd expect from Bloomberg.

Well, I suppose if Bush is guilty of genocide then I suppose Washington, Jackson, Lincoln, Teddy Roosevelt, Woodrow Wilson, F.D.R., Truman, Eisenhower, Kennedy, Bush Sr., Churchill etc. should all be tarred with the same brush. :) :)

I think it was Susan Jacoby who popularized the " dumbing down of America " expression. She goes into precise detail all the reasons we are becoming cross eyed morons with no chins. Now all we need to figure out is what's you Canadians excuse ? :).

Canada's excuse is that there was something really good on TV that day

1990 eh. What would that make Steve about 104? I'm sure his brain had turned to shyt at that age making his opinion less than noteworthy.

Well, you were as thick as planks back then and since, you've all been "dumbed down' a whole lot more.
