It sure as sh't isn't the 6 cents per kwh we are paying.
You don't think there will eventually be carbon pricing adopted world wide?
I absolutely do not believe a carbon tax will be adopted world wide.
I can imagine carbon filter stations built in every city as part of infrastructure to manage air quality.
This is a government attempt to recoup lost taxes due to low fuel prices. Prime Ministers Trudeau's proposed carbon tax will take money from the pockets of the poorest Canadians under the guise of environmentalism. Those on the east coast who have oil heat and no other alternative will see their monthly bills rise. It will be as revenue neutral as the GST and let's be honest here folks, the government of Canada will throw this bull**** tax in with the rest.
I can't believe how naive some Canadians are.
I said carbon price, not tax.b
What's naive is thinking climate change doesn't exist and that it will cost less if we wait on policy.
when did 'price' become a euphemism for 'tax'?
surcharge, fee, revenue enhancements...
quit tryin' to shine us on you areshole.

You seem to me to be a common NWO stooge.

After a while reading someones comments on a dayly basis does indicate what and who they favour usually the choices they make or suggest serve one power block and one only. By now anyone preaching the utility of carbon taxation and or climate change has to be illinformed from a scientific viewpoint meaning simple and forgivable ignorance of planetary physics or in bed with fraudsters. Since the subject is articulate the later is the obvious choice of motivation. He serves the oligarcs against the citizens best interests.
With this in mind I am drawing up plans for a steam powered guillotine of sufficient capacity to handle the flow of the guilty with modern efficiencies, all fueled by burning garbage.

you're too kind. I'm more of a press brake guillotine or spanish garotte guy.

My arthritis prevents that type of physical effort.
In B.C. for step one I'm paying 8.29 cents and for step two about 12.4 cents per kwh. Step one is good for about $130 bi monthly.
hang in there DB
carbon farting Robots will be here soon enough to save the labor day
