You don't think there will eventually be carbon pricing adopted world wide?

I absolutely do not believe a carbon tax will be adopted world wide.
I can imagine carbon filter stations built in every city as part of infrastructure to manage air quality.

This is a government attempt to recoup lost taxes due to low fuel prices. Prime Ministers Trudeau's proposed carbon tax will take money from the pockets of the poorest Canadians under the guise of environmentalism. Those on the east coast who have oil heat and no other alternative will see their monthly bills rise. It will be as revenue neutral as the GST and let's be honest here folks, the government of Canada will throw this bull**** tax in with the rest.

I can't believe how naive some Canadians are.

I said carbon price, not tax.

What's naive is thinking climate change doesn't exist and that it will cost less if we wait on policy.

What's naive is thinking climate change has something to do with this century or the last. Those like you who falsely ring alarm bells about a completely natural climate shift should and quite possibly will be subject to criminal charges. I would support those charges without hesitation. You seem to me to be a common NWO stooge.

one of the better pokes I've seen on here in ages.

After a while reading someones comments on a dayly basis does indicate what and who they favour usually the choices they make or suggest serve one power block and one only. By now anyone preaching the utility of carbon taxation and or climate change has to be illinformed from a scientific viewpoint meaning simple and forgivable ignorance of planetary physics or in bed with fraudsters. Since the subject is articulate the later is the obvious choice of motivation. He serves the oligarcs against the citizens best interests.

With this in mind I am drawing up plans for a steam powered guillotine of sufficient capacity to handle the flow of the guilty with modern efficiencies, all fueled by burning garbage.

Carbon price? You mean like a law imposing a price floor on the cost of gas? A tax would seem more efficient, no?

I suppose it could be a tax that simply makes up the difference. In other words, if you charge less than x, then you charge the difference in tax. Any smart company would just charge x then to avoid the tax, which would be an efficient way to impose a price floor. That could work.
