If you read the Old Testament, Jehova's actually pretty good with it.

Walter claims to be a follower of Jesus, but his only posts so far have been to mock an artist who is, sadly, gone.

Because Jesus told his followers to be vicious pricks.
Like most So called Christians Walter does not follow the teachings of Jesus he is a by product of Saul.

How long are we to morn a suicide??

A better topic would be why he didn't leave a will and now the Gov gets 50% or more.

Was it a suicide or faulty judgment?

I worry more about gravity than anything else, everything is so heavy now.

That's what I find, even these f**king boots I wear for hiking! But hey, if you don't use it you lose it! (Muscles that is)

Jehova Witness and pain meds have a controversial relationship. His pain could have been bigger than the devotion, maybe?
Might have gotten to a point to where the oxycodones weren't blocking the pain signals anymore. I've heard those patches are dangerous. Too bad he couldn't have had some type of surgical procedure to block the nerves causing the severe pain.

Yep.

Prince, at least some of his work, was a pleasure. The man was a great musician........in severe pain.

RIP.

At least the benevolent kindness of opioids saved him from the life-destroying evil of marijuana.

Either way, Walter is delighting in his death. Because Jesus!

Praise the Lawd,,,Amen,, glory.

I did not know the fentanyl patch was an opioid but I guess it is. And that is what killed the man. You don't put on a medication patch to get high, you put it on to ease the pain.

JLM,

He continued to dance away and kept a very hectic schedule. Small wonder why he had all that pain. There has been absolutely no evidence whatsoever of a pattern which bespeaks of suicidal tendencies of any kind. At least no one has come forward and suggested that he had been depressed or upset in any way. On the contrary, he was lively, active in his performances, and appearing to always be forward looking.

I suppose that is about the most positive slant that can be put on it. Personally, I knew absolutely nothing about the man but it is nice to deflate "the sails" of those who wish to denigrate someone who caused no harm!

The stuff he ODed on is a distributed in a patch. My wife was prescribed it after she was in a car wreck several years ago. She says it makes you a bit loopy and if you got interrupted in the process of switching patches you could forget the old one on. This could easily lead to an O/D and a dangerous one if not caught in time. My wife did that a couple of times but caught the second patch before she reached that level. So while it is an O/D, I think you can't draw any lifestyle conclusions from the cause of death.

RIP again Prince.

The local media here in Gopherland has interviewed one person after another who was always close to him - mind you he was the most beloved person in this state's history and there were plenty of people including members of his own family. Not one said that he gave even the slightest hint that he was about to croak himself. It just had to be an accident, could not possibly have been anything else.
