Rumour has it that infrastructure spending is subsidized. Hard to believe.

Thanks... I really should have known.

That said, she did have a sweet deal with the old hybrid (flex fuel), some of the larger shopping malls have special parking (right out front) for flex fuel cars.

It was hilarious as this beast of a Denali got special privileges over the standard greentards that went to that same mall.

With an F plate you can burn purple.

Yeah by industry and they will even let you drive on their roads.

Times are changing. There is a growing segment of society, a voting segment of society that would just as soon see the fossil fuel industry die a quiet death. The right or wrong of that position takes second place to the fact that they are a political force to be reckoned with. Prime Minister Trudeau knows this as clearly as he knows the urgency of the economic need to get these pipelines through. A politician's world is one of compromise and media spin, he's looking for a way to get the oil to market without alienating the green folk.

I bet most of these voters have at least 1 SUV in their garage and use technology 100% dependent on fossil fuels. It's hard to ship an iPhone from China without them. Of course, perhaps they are hoping for transporter technology to make a big breakthrough. In short, these people are idiots.

So much for your support of this thread now, eh Flosstard?

Man, if anyone here is a 'bot of any kind, it's you. You just blow whichever way your ideological masters tell you to blow, don't you. Don't bother answering, that was a rhetorical question.

They already achieved 2 pipelines.

Harper had zero.

Mission accomplished.

The Keystone Pipeline System is an oil pipeline system in Canada and the United States, commissioned in 2010 and now owned solely by TransCanada Corporation.[1] It runs from the Western Canadian Sedimentary Basin in Alberta to refineries in Illinois and Texas, and also to oil tank farms and an oil pipeline distribution center in Cushing, Oklahoma.[2] The pipeline came to a greater prominence of attention when a planned fourth phase, Keystone XL, attracting growing environmental protest, became a symbol of the battle over climate change and fossil fuels, and in 2015 was temporarily delayed by then President Barack Obama. On January 24, 2017, President Donald Trump took action intended to permit the pipeline's completion

A lack of pipelines will force the change.

Allowing these pipelines (according to pipeline supporters) will ensure low gasoline prices for the foreseeable future.

That does not advance the green energy ball down the field.

More counter intuitive political jargon from Trudeau.

It will be so satisfying to watch this province awash in orange and green.
