Trump is actually destroying the party and the radical elements don't get that.
He has 49% of the committed delegates not 49% of Republicans overall.
In fact the latest poll shows 49% of overall Republicans won't vote for him in an
election. That does not mean 51% will. It means there are other candidates
in the race and the voters committed to those candidates won't likely support
Trump in the end when the other campaigns wind down.
In the meantime all the work done by the GOP to attract minority voters has gone
by the wayside. As for scaring the political types no he has brought instability to
the nation as other countries distance themselves from America and his
behavior. Trump has demonstrated why Americans should not vote for him
America has been the magical place of we can do things together to build a
better life for its citizens. Trump is demonstrating that you can build a better life
for some citizens by blaming other citizens for what has happened. And what
has happened? Big companies took the jobs over seas for cheap labor and
an end around working and safety conditions. People like Trump brought in
skilled offshore workers and may have violated the rules in doing so, he cannot
claim to be a friend of American workers. Trump is a disgrace to the leadership
of the party and the people will rule on that before its over

Poor munchkin ran out of talking points.

Because I won't tell DG that once again his predictions will fall on their face like all of his other predictions? He thought the GOP was going to swept from both the House and Senate last two midterms! lmao

You seem butthurt Floosy. Possibly from having your tail fed to you over and over.

If so, that's sad. She is the one candidate from either camp I like the least. I think almost everybody would do a better job.

My gut feel is that she will be the next Al Gore. A shoe-in candidate that the American people did not coronate.

Same. I think it is a good bet but who would have thought Trump would have been poised to take the GOP nomination? I am doubtful she will have the support that Obama did so who knows.

It's a long way to November.

sigh... whatever. I was going to respond but why bother.
Roger that. I know, you're slightly-right-of-center and I'm slightly-left-of-center, but we're both center. The distorted views that people outside the U.S. get is, I think, partly about picking the media they pay attention to, and the wild inaccuracies of their own media.

I don't really know who'll take the White House, but overwhelming odds both Houses of Congress will remain majority Reptilian.

Oh I'll debate and discuss issues with you all day.

I find it hard to always debate and discuss issues with a guy (DG) who can... before the last two midterms say that the GOP is about to get flushed from congress even though the Democrats were on the eve of two of the worst Congressional beatings ever.

I get a kick out of people who believe Trump is a great successful businessman:

Had Trump invested his inheritance in 1974 in an exchange-funded S&P 500 stock index (like a retirement fund) and left it there, he would have $3.4 billion today.
Bloomberg estimates that Trump's current net worth is $2.9 billion.

So he turned about $200 Million into $2.9 Billion instead of $3.4 Billion. He made some horrible moves it would seem.

The GOP has done a masterful job of setting the stage for them to lose the White House and both House of Congress. As good as buddies as they had been I wonder if the Clinton group paid their friend Donald rio enter just to split the GOP vote? Look at the Ross Perot spectacle of years ago.

You're not underestimating Trump are you? Get rid of him & you could end up with Hillary! You need someone who is able to contend with Pukin!

The presidency will be decided by the popular sentiment of the times. Personally I believe Trump will win because he reflects that sentiment more than Hillary . But , I could be wrong I was going to vote for Ross Perot years ago and look what happened there.

Trump may not be as crazy as he seems- he might just be what the U.S. needs! With Hillary all the people are going to get is "aren't I great, look at me"...............absolutely no substance! I.M.H.O.

And the Donald just keeps on rollin' along. I keep wondering when or if Bloomberg will throw his hat into the ring. That might change things cause it's really beginning to look like Trump vs Clinton. We do indeed live in interesting times.

Trump is an Obama hater and panders to popular sentiment which is isolationism and protectionism. It's a Republican tradition.

For values of "shambles" = fully recovered from the 2008 recession.

The numbers don't agree. Talk to the people who are still looking for work and those who are working are making less money.

For values of "no decent jobs" = lowest unemployment since 2009.

Again, numbers aren't accurate. Do a little digging ok?

For values of "waking up" = voting for a blowhard with no policies.

I never said he had policies. I said that people are waking up to the fact that their current "politicians" do not have their best interests at heart. Whether he's a "blowhard" or not, people are listening and voting for him.

For values of "false economy" = anything Dixie doesn't like.

Actually, I have no control over the economy; no government does but the economy is not as good as portrayed.

Yeah, so broke the dollar is at record strength. Because nobody wants it.

There are a few economists out there who say that the worst in yet to come. Hopefully, they're wrong, but you can only "fake it" for so long. The US is basically broke - doesn't have the funds to operate on a daily basis so is borrowing each and every day for "daily operations". That can't go on forever.

Yeah, Trump's not manipulating people.

Didn't say he wasn't - did say that people are sick and tired of being manipulated by the current crop of politicians. Trump is just manipulating in a slightly different and UN PC-LIKE manner and they love him for it. Makes him sound like one of them.

Doing a pretty good job of it so far.

That he is LOL
