Like I said, go there and see exactly how much the cost of living has increased despite this revenue neutral tax.

Surely you are not that naive as to believe the BS emanating from the spin-doctors in the BC provincial legislature.

Every province will have a carbon pricing scheme.

It's time to get tough on crime, we could start by arresting disinformation agents like you. All we need is some legislation and cages. The Carbon theory has been laid to rest as one of the worlds most enormous rip offs of all time and it's because of uneducated hacks like you. You lie to school children and the elderly. I can't think of any better purpose for you other than pet food.
Your scheming days will be over as soon as the net team catches up with you.

That sounds as ridiculous as Boomer's idea to bomb the Saudis.

You don't understand what revenue neutral means.

Bombing the Saudis is a good idea, should be done today and continued untill the place is flat like de pancake, it would also contribute to the decline of CO2. Still not interested?

Edit : I was responding to a post from the first page for some reason.

Bombing the Saudis is a good idea, should be done today and continued untill the place is flat like de pancake, it would also contribute to the decline of CO2. Still not interested?

The consequences of that wouldn't be worth it.

Why not? They raised oil over $100 bbl to be able to build NG and sunshine powerplants to replace their plants that currently burn oil.

Well turns out some Russian faggot got in the way of that plan and attentions needed to be diverted to all out economic warfare and $100bbl was abandoned in order to put the cocksucking Bolshevik faggot out of business. The sooner that faggot is dealt with the sooner life gets back to normal.

Stop using yourself as an excuse to dictate what people decide.

If we vote in a government that chooses to legislate a price on carbon then that's what you're going to get.

And I respect our governments authority, even if I know without a shadow of a doubt that the economical downfall it's creating has already started and will continu to erode my ability to care for a family in this country.

It's why the majority of our population chooses, not to have children, until very late in life if even.

Ummmmm, no. Simpletons being f-cked over is human caused but climate is average. Why do I need to panic over average?

You don't need to panic.

Your province is one of the few heading into deficit without any carbon pricing model.

And I respect our governments authority, even if I know without a shadow of a doubt that the economical downfall it's creating has already started and will continu to erode my ability to care for a family in this country.

You'll be just fine.

Trust me.

But what do you care about our ability to live a normal life. You don't. All you care about is some climate change. That's going to happen regardless on if we tax carbon or not.

You'll be just fine.

Trust me.

If I keep lowering my standard of living, yes.

The fact that it can have carbon reductions without negatively affecting their economy proves my point.

The carbon tax is revenue neutral, so businesses are incentivized to reduce their emissions and they even receive tax credits for it.

Respex for the taxprayers and all that.

Depending on your definition of revenue neutral. And do you really believe it is?

BC already has a revenue neutral carbon tax.

You keep telling yourself that.Odd that no one in BC believes that.

There's only one definition of revenue neutral in this context and that is simply that the money goes back out as investment or tax credit.

So taking a step in hindering potential new jobs here in Canada while not reducing global pollution is good idea how again?

Any tax that increases the cost of living is not revenue neutral. And even if overall the carbon tax collected was equal to the reduction in other taxes the fact is that it is applied unequally across the province. Anywhere outside of the major centers does not have access to NG for heat but must rely on oil of electricity both of which are punitively taxed. We also have to drive farther for everything and for the most part do not have access to cheap US fuel.It even adds to the cost of our food.
