Did you vote for a candidate that didn't want to get elected or can you even name one?

Yeah, I voted for Harper's local representative and he won and so far is doing a good job! (He's a "blue collar" sort of guy with a work ethic.)

And yet people bitch and whine in Vancouver about gasoline being the highest priced in Nor Am.

A love hate relationship or just two face flakes who will do anything they can to find common ground with people they have absolutely nothing in common with other than geography? People here are scared sh-tless of each other and walk on multicultural egg f-cking shells.

Once or twice a day someone will gaze upward and look me in the eye which keeps me from sitting on the roof with my dear sweet Tikka in my hands allowing them to live another day. Maybe one day I won't take pity on their meaningless lives and put them out of their misery.

This pipeline will not result in lower gas prices for Vancouver. It is for export purposes, not domestic just as the Keystone was intended to go to Texas refineries than shipped out and not for American domestic use.

As for the rest of your comment, I have no idea what you are rambling about but I hope you aren't suggesting you are considering killing your pets or children.....

It's good that he's doing a good job considering he didn't want the job

ETA

I guess if he didn't want the job but ended up getting it, he failed in his goal....just like Rachel

There's people driving vehicles that I fear more! :)
Yeah, white Acuras.

I've only been hit twice in four months. So far ICBC has paid me $2500 for minor paint and bumper damage on a $5600 truck. By March they will have paid for it and I'll have a free truck.

TMP carries refined product and crude from Edmonton. Refined products are used to thin out the crude making it easier to pump. The second line would have doubled the amount of product delivered to Burnaby.

"Trans Mountain provides the only West Coast access for Canadian oil products, including about 90 per cent of the gasoline supplied to the interior and south coast of British Columbia."

Is the gasoline actually shipped by pipe? Or is the gasoline manufactured at a BC refinery from pipelined oil, and then distributed by tanker trucks?

The Trans Mountain pipeline transports crude oil, semi-refined and refined products – for use in local markets and for export – on behalf of its customers. Depending on the needs of Trans Mountain’s customers, the amount of product shipped to four general destinations: Kamloops Terminal, Burnaby Terminal, Westridge Marine Terminal or Washington State refineries, varies from week to week. Refined Products are typically destined for Kamloops or Burnaby where refine petroleum batches are sent to a products terminal and transported within BC for local use. Crude products are typically destined for Washington State where crude oils are delivered to refineries for processing or the Burnaby Terminal where petroleum is received to be delivered to refineries or loaded onto tankers calling at Westridge Marine Terminal for export. This infographic provides a visual breakdown of the 2013 product destination.

You can find more information on the products shipper in our pipeline here.

PS the other 10% is trucked from Regina and I believe Airdrie where fasgas has a tiny refinery.

Closer to triple actually. The increased tanker traffic to carry the stuff away is a major talking point in opposition to this project.

Outgoing tankers are bad but incoming are good. I'm serious there was overwhelming happiness when tankers from Newfoundland parked at the terminal in Barnet Inlet and gas dropped from $1.43 to $1.32.

Yes I posted that info but it sounds like you are in favour of doing those things? That not a very Conservative approach.

http://forums.canadiancontent.net/alberta/140273-saudi-arabia-will-continue-flood.html

Saudi Arabia has seen it's credit rating downgraded by the major agencies and have been 'warned' by the IMF that they could have liquidity issues in the next years if they don't diversify their economy (lol) or see higher resource prices.... They are attempting to float a bond issue and actually thinking about offering (part of ) Aramco on the public markets.

The message here is that Saudi Arabia can't afford these low commodity prices too much longer

What would he do differently?

He could start by not passing legislation that drives away investment in the province's E&P sector

If the province is so volatile that a few weeks of uncertainty is that critical, then it just highlights how ridiculous their singular focus on oil to prop up their economy is.

Any major industry that contemplates billions in investment absolutely requires certainty with respect to gvt.

Case in point; how many multi-nationals are proposing billion dollar investments in Ontario right now?

Get Mr Wynne out and that might change over night

Thanks Ralph.

Thanks of the reaffirmation that you are a tard

Easier said than done. The mere mention of a pipeline is enough to bring the environmental lobby out in force, and they are a force to be reckoned with these days.

They collective BO and rancidness of the eco-protesters is the only thing to be reckoned with

True tay, the proposal hasn't been refused, it's just delayed until Kinder Morgan brings a better offer to the table. Given the opposition that pipelines in general are seeing from the environmental lobby it's up to government to make sure all the t's are crossed and the i's dotted as far a spill prevention/response/and cleanup are concerned. Premier Clark is also intent on seeing some serious cash flow into BC coffers with all that money being piped across BC soil. The project is far from dead, but there is a lot of horse trading to be done yet.

Newsflash!:

The transmountain p/l has been operating for years and the expansion is well within it's easements and ability.

Christie Clark can't do squat about it, nor can the eco-tards with some puny protests

Probably. You seem to miss an awful lot.

Could be, but I doubt it in the case of Arnold, I studied him fairly closely before I voted for him. I'd vote for him again today if I had it to do over. You have to start paying attention! :) :) :)

I'm sure you did and I'm sure you would. How come he didnt want the job?

And yes, paying attention is very important. You can look pretty silly if you don't.
