You might be dumb enough to want to pay higher gas prices but the rest of us certainly do not want to. What happensd to your disdain for orporate subsidies?
BC is doing just fine and creating jobs. Maybe some of the eastern provinces could try responsible government and do the same instead of forcing tradespeople to go to Alberta to find a real job.

Most working people make over $100G a year so the tax will fall squarely on the producers.
Bullsh*t. The average wage/salary in Canada is $49,000. Most working people don't make near $100,000/yr.

Oh boy. I see your embarrassment has made you ignore context again. Oh well.

I think there is enough people here that understand you have a difficult time expressing yourself in a clear and concise manner. Perhaps you should take that into account and think before you post. I can accept that you didn't really mean that Rachel was a failure. I've read enough of your posts to see your limitations and you have admitted yourself that your disadvantaged so let's just agree you made a mistake. Far from being a failure, Rachel has accomplished a hell of a lot more than you have but it's yet to be determined whether you're a failure

Oh no, you're still upset and embarrassed.

You know, you could just admit you made a mistake and move on.

We can't think any less of you than we already do.

I don't disagree. Look, I think Albertans are going to pay dearly for electing the Dipper government. If you want to say that the Dipper policies are a failure, that's one thing but to say Rachel is a failure, that's laughable. Clearly my question embarrassed CB. Otherwise he would just list his accomplishments that put Rachel to shame

Bear in mind that as a public figure, Rachel Notley somewhat loses her individualism as part of the bargain.... This was/is the case for all politicians.

To her credit, she did live up to a number of her election promises, however, those kept-promises were (in my opinion) poor choices.... To that ends, it is not unreasonable to state that by keeping those promises and now understanding that they were poor choices and with the knowledge that they were developed by her personally, one could conceivably say that she has failed

What context are we using now?

Funny how you got it, but Cnuk didn't.

I hope this doesn't exacerbate his hurt feelings.

Oh goody, Flossy's here giving you thumbs up. I hope that helps you get over your butthurt Cnuk. I know how important they are to you.

How would a user supported price guarantee hurt future generations?

What part of the Canadian E&P industry shutting down don't you get?

That's exactly what happened under the first Trudeau failure... Because Western Cdn oil stopped flowing, he had to buy his crude from overseas at market value ~not to be confused with a Made In Canada (artificial) Price.

The history is clear on this tay

If, on the other hand, you are suggesting an artificially high price on oil/gas, then that is essentially a direct subsidy that will come directly out of the consumer's pockets (read: tax)

This just in, CB says Rachel is a rousing success.… You just have to understand the context
Geeze, my last post did upset you more.

I was so hoping Flossy's lil green thumbs would sooth your butthurt, but I guess they weren't enough.

Oh well.

Wouldnt really make a difference. A million dollars wouldnt go far in improving things for Alberta. Even if Notley took the deal and resigned, the NDP would still be in. It'd just be a different member who became premier til the next election.
