Steyn goes to a Trump rally. It's Steyn, so you know you have to read it.

Notes on a Phenomenon :: SteynOnline

Trump has no prompters. He walks out, pulls a couple of pieces of folded paper from his pocket, and then starts talking. Somewhere in there is the germ of a stump speech, but it would bore him to do the same poll-tested focus-grouped thing night after night, so he basically riffs on whatever's on his mind.

it's gun be good watching the progs and the MSM after Trump is elected President.

The most Liberal part of the USA, Vermont and Trump had 1000's of people show up to his rally, he didn't have space for most of them...

Many Democrats are supporting Trump..

He will be the next US President..

The people get the government they deserve. Just shows to go ya, how crazy and racist most Americans are.

Trump’s ‘foulmouth’ inspires urinal mural

By Doug Lunney, Winnipeg Sun

WINNIPEG - Word is leaking out about an unusual mural in the men’s room of an Exchange District night club. The face of foulmouthed U.S. presidential candidate Donald Trump is featured above a row of urinals in the washroom at District Stop on Bannatyne Avenue.
The artwork, which was done about a month ago, was strategically placed to have one of the urinals over Trump’s mouth. The remainder of the wall is filled with some of Trump’s more controversial quotes from over the years.
“Everybody seems to love it,” District Stop’s general manger, Casey Lourens, said. “I haven’t heard anything negative about it and nobody has given us hard time about it. People just laugh at it and say it was a great idea.”
Just about everyone has an opinion on Trump, the Republican front-runner who has waged a provocative 2016 campaign for presidency. His proposal to have a temporary ban on Muslim immigration until better security precautions are implemented has particularly drawn the ire of some, who may otherwise pay little attention to American politics.
The mural idea came from District Stop’s marketing director and part owner, Wana Etuk, with hopes it would get a reaction, Lourens said.
“That is pretty much why we did it,” Lourens said. “It’s something current and edgy, so we decided to do it in our washroom.”
Etuk came across a photoshopped image online that had Trump’s face wrapped around a lip-shaped urinal. He then contacted local artist Nereo II, who had already done work at District Stop. Lourens, said the entire piece was completed in about four hours.
“We decided to go a little more abstract and cover the wall with a bunch of his quotes,” Lourens said.
The Trump mural, the first of any kind in the club’s men’s room, will remain up “as long as it’s relevant,” Lourens said, then possibly replaced.
“It definitely will be a hard act to follow, though,” he said.
“We’ve been tossing around some ideas for the women’s bathroom, but we’ve got nothing set in stone yet.”
District Stop, in the location that was once known as Wise Guys, has done well since it opened in September 2014, Lourens said.
“It’s been going great,” he said. “This past month and the holiday season has been some of the busiest times we’ve had yet.
“We couldn’t really be happier with the way things are going now and we’re looking forward to a strong 2016.”
STRANGLER TONES IT DOWN
It may not be a good idea to tell Lew Wetherell to “break a leg” before he steps on stage at Celebrations Dinner Theatre, since he used to terrorize wrestling rings as the Sin City Strangler.
Wetherell is back at Celebrations after a three-year hiatus, while he was performing with Monster Pro Wrestling in Edmonton.
A much kinder Wetherell is starring as Doc Green in Michael Jackson is Back from the Future. The show completes its run at Celebrations on Jan. 16.
KOKER RETURNING
Danny Koker was such a huge draw at last year’s World of Wheels that the star of the TV series Counting Cars will be back this year, but in a different role.
Koker and his rock band Count’s 77 will perform a 90-minute concert on the opening night of Piston Ring World Wheels, which runs from March 18 to 20 at the newly expanded RBC Convention Centre. This year’s event will feature special displays including Beetlemania, barn finds and a 50th anniversary of the 1956 Chevrolet.
