I watched that interview too. I got out of it that Sajjan was just saying in a diplomatic way, 'Canada will continue to be part of the coalition but we really don't want any part of the war.
I guess we'll be sitting back watching and munching our popcorn as our allies do the fighting.
Trudeau keeps saying, 'We will do everything we can to aid the coalition". When and how can we expect 'us' to do something?

The time for diplomacy is quickly drawing to an end. Canada has a choice to make, there will be no neutrals in this war to end all wars.

Can't we contribute to the war effort w/o bombing the sh*t out of everything? How about hacking their bank accounts? That should shut them down pronto.

No reason we couldn't do both. I don't care if they bomb the hell pit right out of existence.
The Liberals won't commit to anything. They talk about humanitarian aid. I don't think it's very humanitarian to let an enemy like ISIS continue to keep advancing and growing stronger.
I thought I heard the Defense Minister say that 'we are going to assess things and see how it's going'. I'm still thinking I must have heard wrong. Surely he wouldn't make such a blatantly stupid statement publicly.

Renowned American Military Expert Explains How Turkey Ambushed Russia's Su-24

Farsnews
TEHRAN (FNA)- Iraqi Parliament's Security and Defense Committee is going to review a security agreement with the United States over Washington’s inability to tackle the crisis in the country, committee member Hamid al-Mutlaq told Sputnik on Wednesday.
The Security and Defense Committee of the Iraqi Parliament has called for a review or cancellation of an agreement with the United States on security over Washington’s lack of a clear reaction to the worsening situation in the country, committee member Hamid al-Mutlaq told Sputnik on Wednesday.
“The government and parliament need to review the agreement signed with the United States on security because the United States does not seriously care about its fulfillment. We demand that it be annulled,” al-Mutlaq said.

U.S. Is About to Be Kicked out of Iraq and Replaced With Russia | The Daily Sheeple
As time goes on the Iraqi’s are rapidly losing faith in America and her allies. Among their complaints with our government, is the fact that they’ve utterly failed to stop ISIS (much of the Iraqi population believes we’re helping them), in addition to recent incursions by Turkey, an American ally. These soldiers appear to be the straw that broke the camel’s back for Baghdad, after they parked themselves in Northern Iraq last week and refused to leave.
Now Baghdad appears to be preparing to oust American military influence in their country. The Iraqi parliament’s Security and Defense Committee recently called to reassess their nation’s security agreement with the United States, and again asked Turkish forces to leave their sovereign borders. According to one of the Committee members “The [Iraqi] government and the parliament need to review its security agreement with the US, because Washington is not serious about its implementation. We will demand its cancelation.”

At least they don't have to lie about things. Stab in the back is the only move NATO knows. Notice it is Turkey that is asking that sanctions be reduced, It won't ever happen so who is the real loser in that ambush. Notice also that the Russian fighters now carry air-to-air missiles.

Clearly they do. After killing thousands of Syrian children and women, Raining cruise missiles all over Iran, bombing Syrian soldiers, having to cut deals with the Rebels because they cannot beat them... the Russians have a lot to lie about and that is just what they're doing.

Syria is a quagmire for Russia.

You got a future at Fox News. Your calibre of bullsh*t is impressive. Russia murders millions of teddy bears and puppies and ruin billions of picnics. The yankee backed mercenary scum bags will be cut off and obliterated before Christmas.

Well look! How do you bomb ISIS without harming citizens when ISIS uses citizens as human shields? Impossible.
ISIS is killing citizens. Will the citizens be more dead if they are bombed by the allies?
We didn't ask for ISIS to go on the rampage and threaten the whole world with terror attacks. They started it and they make the no-rules. We either play by their rules or lay down arms and let them come after us.
War involves innocent deaths. That's a fact of life.
Consider a couple of things: Hitler set out to conquer the world. He bombed the hell out of countries and killed innocent citizens without a second thought by the hundreds of thousands.
The only way he was defeated was by bulldozing through country by country and killing the bastards wherever they could be found. If innocent people got in the way that was an unfortunate side effect of war.
Do you think the world would be a better place if only Hitler was killing innocent citizens and the allies backed off and let him go to it unchallenged?
Then consider the Atomic bombs dropped on the two Japanese cities. That killed one hell of a lot of innocent people but it also prevented future deaths and suffering and brought about peace for a good many years.
Yes it seems brutal but the Japanese would not stop fighting and they were forewarned of the devastation to come if they didn't stop.
Do you think the world would be a better place if the Japanese had been allowed to keep up their aggression?
I think the same scenarios are being played out today by the fight against ISIS. They will continue to grow in numbers and get stronger while the coalition dallies trying to spare innocent lives. In the end it will undoubtedly come to the same conclusion - crush them no matter what the means or the cost in human lives. How many millions will die needlessly and undeservedly before push comes to shove?
I happen to think it would save millions of lives in the long run to go after them in earnest now and get it over with.

Hit them on the open road. Most of their trucks are probably equipped with On-star or some other GPS device.

The Greeks benn putting up with Turkish incursions for decades. Maybe Russia has whispered encouragement and Greeks will press trigger buttons soon. It won't take much to turn the Turkish public at Erdogans throat.
Greek already showed them to be hypocrites, they have enough on their plate with the IMF eating them from the inside. I would bet that if they went to Russia and ditched what the owe the IMF that Russia would end up gaining what they lost when the IMF forgave the Ukraine their debt to Russia just a few days ago. That would certainly be a fitting 'reply' and Italy is already dropping the sanctions NATO applied. Both are decent locations for Russian tourists. Cyprus just gave Russia an airbase to use for the campaign so inroads have already been made, so much for Turkey's interfering in that place anymore.
Perhaps the headline is just saying they were Greek fighters and it was the newest Russian fighters with assistance from the missile cruiser that is also an 'S-300' (short range weapons) platform. Turkey would certainly back down from them, they might shoot at Greek fighters as that would help NATO's image.
