What?

No, no.

You don't have to be an environmentalist to recognize a big problem.

But if you're a neocon, you're definitely a tool.

So what stage of grief are you in?

We all know there are some seriously frustrated people at the Paris Conference. It's sad really. Such hopes.... such hopes.

Great post.... High Ambition Coalition.

In other words.... No Pay Day... just more non-binding pledges and non-binding commitments..... oh and high ambitions.

Look.

This time next year you will have another Democrat in office and they will continue the climate change agenda. In fact, Republicans are actually starting to brush the cobwebs from their puffy, mucous filled eyes and are starting to accept this as well.

There is already significant momentum on this and there will be no question of significant reductions in the next 30 years.

You're just in denial and your views continue to be less relevant as this agenda continues.

The only real road bumps in this plan are distractions on the economy (like 2008) or some large scale conflict - the closest of which is the coalition against ISIS, and even that is small potatoes compared to previous ops like Afghanistan and Iraq.

There will never be significant planetary anthropocentricly induced CO2 reductions. That cannot happen. Pierre-Marie Robitaille: Kirchhoff’s Claims | EU2015

Over the past 15 years, Dr. Pierre-Marie Robitaille has raised considerable doubt relative to Kirchhoff’s formulation of his Law of Thermal Emission. In this regard, the equivalence between emitted and absorbed radiation under conditions of thermal equilibrium, properly known as

Now now now... don't get all salty.

We've had a Democrat in office for the last seven and look what that has got you... zilch. Clinton will not have nearly the pull Obama had and she won't want to be a one term President either.

The Democrats will not take both houses next year either so those Republicans will still carry on the correct agenda. Whinny environmentalists are going to continue to be frustrated just like you.

So quit having temper tantrums because you're pissed that the Paris Climate Conference failed.

No liabilities... No compensation... No Binding Agreement

Well, IMO, the nonsense that seems to be sprouting from this Paris thing will likely mean that businesses will die that would have been ok, businesses will sprout in the field of "green" energy but as in the past, will need subsidies, and there will be more people living below poverty levels.

More "inconvenient truths".

Well... at least the alarmists got to see Paris. I think that was the big attraction of the conference over doing anything productive.

What businesses will die?

Invest in coal. Follow the Subsidies, they lead to graphite and graphene.

Carbon fibre use is going to parallel the use of steel. Both require heaps of coal, graphite and graphene.

If we want lightweight super strength materials in our future coal has to be saved for steel and carbon fibre.

I am guessing that the ones that are struggling (or perhaps even doing just ok) and lean heavily on non-"green" resources.

I just don't see fossil fuels going away. Especially when they are in such abundance and are far more cheaper than so called green resources.
