Do you expect the kids to babysit themselves while Daddy and Mommy do Prime Minister shyte?
Justin is not the first PM to have kids. Has this ALWAYS been a job benefit or is Justin special? This is the first I have heard of this. When I work, it is not my bosses problem what I do with my kids. My boss is flexible if I have issues but it is not the companies responsibility to provide me child care.
Also, not sure what Justin's annual income is. Expect it is more than $200k. Didn't he pledge to remove child benefits to those people? But I guess not himself. There is a word for that ..... I believe its hypocrite.
But the budget will balance itself.
Decorum mostly ... same role Mrs Harper played or any PM spouse previous to that. It presents a friendly family image. Propaganda, if you will
Curious that propaganda is a state function and not a function of the governing party who benefits.
I ask this sincerely.
What are your thoughts on the nanny issue?
Personally, I don't think it's out of line, other than what he had to say during the electioneering process.
If this is a perk that has been given to previous PMs as well, then this is pretty poor reporting. But it is the CBC so I guess I shouldn't be surprised.
