Yet on average since 2000, 1 of every 5 suicide bombers has been under 18. Not that it excuses the goof for emptying his entire magazine into the kid. The kids aren't exactly willing volunteers although they are indoctrinated pretty young. Some years ago in Gaza, martyr sticker albums were all the "rage". Kids would collect stickers of the latest martyrs and put them in sticker books in various backgrounds like clouds
No, I doubt there is a cure for anybody who sees children as a viable delivery method for a suicide bombing and yet here were are.
Al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigades, the Islamic Jihad and Hamas have all openly declared responsibility for recruiting children as suicide bombers. This isn't exactly breaking news either.

My father told me years ago when they were in Germany mopping up in WWII that if they
came across enemy that were surrendering they had to be very careful and if it was a
group of older guys they were more relaxed. The young ones being fanatics in some
cases would put hands behind head with a grenade. If the younger ones moved they
shot them simple as that. How do we know what the circumstances were? I would be
cautious but I don't think I would shoot a thirteen year old girl. On the other hand the
young lady in Paris that blew herself up is an example of i never would have taken her
for a suicide bomber
