We'll just have to wait and see what the messaging will be at the G20.

Lest we forget.

Ah, I see. So all you do is parrot the ideology but can't actually put together a cogent argument for it. It's disturbing to know that people like you actually vote.

This is probably the dumbest post you've made to date on the forum and it's already a pretty low bar for you.

Of course it's plausible that accepting more people can help. This has been the backbone of our economy since Dominion.

That being said, it is perfectly reasonable to see what the specific plan would be before making the automatic assumption that it is destined to fail.

Trudeau's 'economic growth' theory might be a pretty hard sell! He's going to teach the other world leaders how to fix the slumping global economy? Yeah, right!
He is really full of himself to go over there as a rookie and play the part of a seasoned economist. How embarrassing!

Yeah, he might do well just to sit quietly and LISTEN the first day. :)

If you are so intent on splitting hairs the term I'm familiar with is 'irons in the fire'. :)
There you go, I stand corrected.
At least it is part of the topic and not a troll move. I prefer to use the term 'technically, according to . . . . ' This is also probably the 1st time I have mentioned that term in the last 50 years. There it is no longer 'useless information', saying we house immigrants on Reservations for a few years and the Natives can run the schools that teach these newbies how to live in Canada and thrive, like they have while under our care.

Do you need some mottos to go along with it?

'Here, show us how it should have been done.'
'We come bearing gifts, here are some servants, do as you will.'
Etc.

That's rich coming from an imbecile that hasn't posted an original thought other than snarkiness. Face it, this is far from the only topic where you've been great at posting other people's words or parroting an ideology while providing no original input of your own. Other than some idiotic changes to headlines and immature appeals to the emotional that is. Nothing has changed since your CKA days I see.

Immigration only works when people come here to contribute. Do you know WHY it worked so well in the past? Because people coming here had to be self-sufficient or fully sponsored by family. There was no social system to rely on. They had to make their own way here and then had to make their own way once they got here. As time went by but before the days of mass immigration, newcomers were selected based on their potential to contribute to Canada. Nowadays, at least half of the working-age immigrants that arrive here have absolutely zero discernible work skills and no working knowledge of either official language.

Immigration prior to the '90s worked for Canada and it worked for the newcomers. Since 1995, the policy seems to be, "mass immigration for the sake of mass immigration" and it's not really working for anyone except the scammers.

The hell with logic, reasoning and common sense. Ideology and emotion are what determine Canada's policies these days. And no, "these days" does NOT mean just since Trudeau was elected.

Get it out and then sit back and listen to the feedback. Less military and more social programs to deal with issues 'back home', probably even save a few bucks with just that one move that becomes a necessity should NATO be found to be outdated. He can't open new possibilities on his own but he could be the one that is there when long-term changes are possible. We will fall in whatever direction the US falls when Trump is the highest authority.

That seems to be an emotional statement, a negative emotion at that. Why is yours exempt from the condemnation you demand others get?
