Jr. isn't the problem, inefficiency of the Harper years is the problem.

"Providing more time for this large resettlement movement will lead to better resettlement outcomes," said Chris Friesen, the president of the Canadian Immigrant Settlement Sector Alliance.
Friesen was part of a conference call Tuesday when federal officials were urged to stretch their future Liberal bosses' ambitions out over a slightly longer horizon.
"Reconsider the time frame, keep the number but let's do it over 2016 to the end of 2016," he told CBC News.
"Twenty-five thousand over two months is problematic."

Why airlift send one cruise ship and it is one boatload, one that can actually stay afloat, just have the former rebels check their guns at the door. Real Syrians are returning to their homes thanks to Russia decimating the rebels who were left holding the bag. What Syrian would want to go to a country that was part of the invading force to begin with.

Able bodies young men and women are good candidates for Immigration, NOT refugees.
Refugees are people who are seeking safety from the threat of death.

Both the same IMO.

Able bodies of young men and women who've lived in the sh*t for quite some time will come to realize that a life better than they've ever had will be provided for free.

No work necessary and certainly no assimilation.

Sorry, but Harper did not invent bureaucracy and government.

Problematic is right.
The problem with your idea being that the government does not run cruise ship lines. It would have to convince some private bunch of the efficacy of freeing up a cruise ship the gov't could use.
What Syrian would want to go to an invading country? A vengeful one.

I wonder if all those people who think they will miss Harper, know about the enormous debt he left
us ?....
