Re: Ford brothers show support for Harper

Why not? Rob got more attention on American TV than Harper can ever hope for. Celebrity endorsement's always a good thing - even if that celebrity is a little bit cracked and crooked

I agree, even bad publicity is good publicity. So why is Justine being such a Hyprocrite?

Justine seems to dislike Rob Fords open addiction to drugs, but oh wait, did Justine want to legalize marijuana?

Why a fukking hypocrite.

Now is the time at SDA when we juxtapose!

Toronto Star, May 2015: Justin Trudeau pledges tax hike on richest 1 per cent in Liberal economic proposal

La Presse, October 2015: The Liberal leader Justin Trudeau MP for Papineau, a riding in Quebec, but he resides and pays his provincial taxes in Ontario...

... thus saving 4.1%.

fukkin' pony taxes.

J.J. McCullough ‏@JJ_McCullough

Hoping this Team Trudeau scandal will remind voters that Liberal corruption is real corruption, not just a bad senator here or there.

but of course, most pony bois are stupid and will ignore.

Are you suggesting that pot is as addictive as crack? (and the rest that goes with it. Colorado raised how much in taxes in 1 year?

What is their track record in the last year compared to the terrorists that we do fully support, like ISIS.

Anyone know what Unifor's credentials are?

Mostly the Canadian Auto Workers. The people that played a major part in destroying manufacturing in Ontario.

There is no comparison between marijuana and coke. IN any event marijuana is much safer than most things Big Pharma Peddles with the open assistance of the government that is supposed to protect our health.

The Liberals have Ontario to thank for the reversal of fortunes. They are now expected to claim a whopping 72 seats across Canada’s most populous province, compared to 34 for the Conservatives and 15 for the NDP. It is in Ontario that Harper’s camp is “bleeding dramatically” with just days to go before Canadians head to the polls, Kay said.

Don't bet your first born. By Monday I'm quite sure the Conservatives will have most of those votes. People are a little braver in the ballot booth than they are discussing it all with friends etc.

This is not a campaign on the rocks. This is a campaign in flames.

The Conservative campaign has now passed beyond putting out fires, into the realm of flat-out, hair-pulling desperation.
First, Harper sidelined hatchet-girl Jenni Byrne in favour of Lynton Crosby, a race-baiting democracy-killer from Down Under. (Or maybe he didn’t. Crosby’s business partner says he was never attached to the Conservative campaign, formally or otherwise. “We don’t do bit-part politics,” Mark Textor said. Burn.)
Anyway, when Crosby didn’t work out as advertised, Steve turned to a ‘reformed’ crack-smoking boozer. This is the man who, between swigs from a vodka bottle, turned Toronto into a madhouse while he was mayor — a world-class city reduced to a running joke. (Some people benefitted, it’s true. Thanks to Ford, David Letterman’s monologues were writing themselves for a while.)
Turning to Rob Ford to save your political bacon is like asking Bernie Madoff to do your taxes. And it’s not just Harper’s dubious choice in allies that smells of panic. There’s also Harper’s tiresome habit of trying to lie his way out of trouble.

This was very informative.

Post-election possibilities for a minority Parliament

'Who is the Prime Minister of Canada?” may be a tough question to answer next week after Canadians cast their ballots in Monday’s federal election.

Post-election possibilities for a minority Parliament - The Globe and Mail

Don't count the Conservatives out as far as a majority gov't goes. All these advance polls are the result of possibly a thousand samples, even if they are an indication of the popular vote, there's no way there's enough information to predict # of seats. When it comes down to the nitty gritty I doubt if everyone who says they will is really going to vote for Jr. He'd probably do O.K. running for student's council of a rural high school.

Lynton Crosby ditches Harper's flailing campaign

Crosby's apparent departure could not have come at a worse time for Harper, who is falling behind in the polls to Justin Trudeau's Liberals. The prime minister is facing widespread criticism for for speaking at a Toronto rally on Tuesday with scandal-plagued ex-Toronto mayor Rob Ford in attendance, who has previously admitted using illegal drugs including crack.

But Crosby's business partner, Mark Textor, has recently been ramping up efforts to distance his partner from Harper's campaign, a full month after reports that Crosby was hired by the Conservatives.

At time of writing, Crosby's supposed whereabouts could not be confirmed by those in the know, but Twitter users have already swung into action, many of whom are mocking both Crosby and Harper online under the #notincanada hashtag.

Question, can any of you name who is running in your constituency for all the parties?

If I were in your place, I would not elect anyone.
The one whom you elect will be your responsibility, and the sin will be on your necks.
To me, I did not participate in any local election here, because I know all their programs are corrupt, and all parties are evil and devils. :D

Do what they do in the Muslim countries, instead like allowing butchering thugs such as Assad, Hussein, Qadaffi. Islam knows how to choose leaders ... genocidal maniacs.

If polls, even late ones, were reliable, it’s President Dewey, not Truman in 1948. Wild Rose takes Alberta in 2012, George Smitherman might be mayor in 2010, John Major never was prime minister of Britain, and Benjamin Netanyahu is retired to his library.

“I always lose the election in the polls, and I always win it on election day,” the Israeli prime minister said, after winning again last March.

You trust polls at your peril.
