I doubt if left and right (directionally) have a hell of a lot to do with it. I think it's more a matter of some people coming to the realization their thinking has been wrong and they've finally decided to start doing it correctly.

To tell you the truth I never did think Mulehair's hold on Quebec was going to last for three reasons- He's not Layton and Jr. with his French connections is bound to steal some seats and then of course Duceppe is liable to steal a couple more so it wouldn't surprise me if Mulehair loses 20 seats in Quebec & I think there's a slight chance the Dippers could settle right back to their historical level of 30 - 35 seats. I think Harper's unpopularity is popular among people who love to bitch and that can be contagious but it's probably not as popular as benefits like income splitting for seniors. (who actually do the bulk of the voting)
Now that is downright funny Cliffy!

I don't support any party. What I have seen on these forums and in real life is that, by and large, the conservative types are self centered, selfish, mean spirited, with ugly hearts, so, I present this image that I took of a beautiful and innocent fawn in hopes to soften you cold, hard hearts:

I think the problem comes from picking sides. We are all in this together. Why can't we have a system that works for everybody. My preference is a no party system, like Nunavut, where all MPs are independent and all decisions are made by consensus. Competition is what destroys social cohesiveness.
