Where's Ezra?!?

Where's Steyn?!?

Where's THE REBEL?!?!!!!?

So it turns out the Sun's logo is red for good reason comrades.

Note to readers

The voice of our reader has always been a critical part of the Sun.

As a paper, we pride ourselves both on dishing out and taking criticism - especially when the latter comes from our readers.

And part of that conversation has taken place on our online comment boards.

However, the increasing use of Sun comment boards for anonymous, negative, even malicious personal attacks, albeit by a minority, has led us to conclude our current commenting system is not serving the interests of the majority of our readers.

Therefore we have decided, for the time being, to no longer allow commenting on most online articles until we sort out a better and more accountable way for our readers to interact with us and each other.

So you think it's a big deal that a private enterprise made a choice? I didn't know the news media were obligated to let the general public spout off in their comments section.

But since this seems to be an issue for you, ever wonder why the publicly owned CBC doesn't allow commenting on various news stories? Does that bother you too?

As a matter of fact I came to Canadian Content after the CBC shut down their comment sections on all articles.

Well yes anyone who's being regularly educated by the CBC would. Swill begets swill.

"The NSS [National Security State] represents and serves the interests of a tiny elite. Its economic policies of "trickling-up", enforced by the machine gun, are rationalized on the ground that growth in the long run will trickle down to the lower orders. This is a self-serving ideology designed mainly to allow the western public to think well of themselves and their own country." -- Edward Herman

I understand their position. In years gone by if one wished to respond to an article in the paper one wrote a polite letter to the editor with your name and address and it might get published in a week or two. Today in online newspapers mostly all you find for comments in articles of importance in incoherent drivel from lowlife leftards that won't even use their own name.

If anything i suspect they got tired of trying to keep up with the barely literate horde of left wing idiots that dirty up every article. The national post has changed their comment section recently, you now need a fb account to comment, all that happened is the mostly left, too stupid to be embarrassed by how stupid they are crowd, still comments, still votes their friends garbage to the top, and there are fewer normals there to balance the conversation.
