Canadians right across the political spectrum are opposed to immigrants being allowed to wear facial coverings during the citizenship ceremony, according to the latest results from Vote Compass, CBC's online voter engagement survey.

Asked whether immigrants should be allowed to cover their faces for religious reasons while taking the oath of citizenship, 72 per cent of Vote Compass respondents said no. Only 19 per cent were OK with the idea.

Let them have it but only if we adopt and enforce mandatory participation in Ivan Kupala Night as a cultural Right.

Do they get to put masks on after they do the oath like SWAT does? How about if you swear with one on then you do your crime time without one one on and if you don't wear at the swearing in you can wear one after. As a 'new member' they would get their feet printed like babes do at the hospital. Velcum to Kanada, here are your papers. You will need them as that is now a tracking device for small groups of people, say like the size of the superbowl and smaller. Floor sensors could be at the door that record the heat from the passer-by and the gait and such would be well known by the time he left the mall. Tie that into a theft database and the thief could receive a 'ticket in the mail' for a hat he stole a month earlier. Export that data and a record from other places could identify that same person for any event and any time just by the walking pattern they have. Promote it as the NSA from space or cell-phone records and your footy prints are mostly unique in any given group of people and not changed with a mask on or off.

For us white guys I don't go to any Legion often enough to know if women are required to remove scarves (head covering rather than face covering) like the men do for their hats. Any Canadian worth his salt covers his face when going out in the winter, you would be stupid not to. Motorcycle helmets would be considered to be 'a mask' and a photo of it would be part of drivers info. Tinted windows are also masks in a way because the identity of only one is hidden by them.

Close, the flower guy.

Said his name was 'Shakey', cause that was the only green tobacco he would smoke because at that level you don't need to take those 30 day breaks to remain 'balanced'. In your medicated world you probably have an introduction doseage and then get the 'better stuff' 30 days later rather than 3 days as the 'changes' are that slow. What happens to you if start slow, ramp up, taper off, stop compared to introduction doseage and take as long as you feel like it and you could keep checking by stopping for 3 days of a similar period of time rather than ramps bigger that keep you in a transition for a longer period that what your 'stable level is'. (and then complain that they are a roller-coaster) How many times would you have to listen to this song before you could filter out all sounds except the harmonica. Fore some it might tale listening to it for a few days straight, if you were a 'fan' of that instrument you might be able to do it by the 3rd time since it is a repeating sound.
