Then it's not his ear being lopped off and then healed is it? Is it maybe confusing the listener and then explained by Jesus so he could "hear"?

Is that not the same?

Concerning context, are you implying that a metaphorical arrest is taking place, Petros?

So does that fit in with folks being able to "see" (the Light) or hear"(the Good News)?

Sorry, Petros. This bunny trail is so far removed from the topic of discussion that I have lost sight of what "that" references in your question.

You don't need the heal a metaphor. If it was one then you have had both cut off for how many years?

Lu:22:50:
And one of them smote the servant of the high priest,
and cut off his right ear.
Lu:22:51:
And Jesus answered and said,
Suffer ye thus far.
And he touched his ear,
and healed him.

Might want to sent yourself a memo. Other than that the healing thing is a group event. I'm not sure there is a verse that specifically says the more you suffer the greater your reward, the theme from Job would be different if Job was the cohesion of the family and with him gone it splintered rather than 'adapted and moved on. You get a demotion from 'great in Heaven' to being 'lesser in Heaven' if you put stumbling blocks in front of people. ( I assume that is about them not having a spot in the salvation of mankind) A person can introduce the concept of God but it is between that person and God after that introduction. With or without that introduction that person's collection is somewhere before the closing of the Great White Throne event.

The biblical one.
This is the OT version. 'My fellow.' in this case should be a reference to the relationship between God (Lord of hosts) and Christ and the Holy Spirit alone and Angels and other heavenly beings would be created beings with the exception of the 4 beasts around the throne in Re:4.
To sit on a throne in a temple means a temple needs to be built first and that is also covered in the OT.

Isa:53:6:
All we like sheep have gone astray;
we have turned every one to his own way;
and the LORD hath laid on him the iniquity of us all.

Zec:13:7:
Awake,
O sword,
against my shepherd,
and against the man that is my fellow,
saith the LORD of hosts:
smite the shepherd,
and the sheep shall be scattered:

and I will turn mine hand upon the little ones.

M't:25:31:
When the Son of man shall come in his glory,
and all the holy angels with him,
then shall he sit upon the throne of his glory:
M't:25:32:
And before him shall be gathered all nations:
and he shall separate them one from another,
as a shepherd divideth his sheep from the goats:

Still high I see.
You say that to a lot of people, are you looking to score some weed on a public chat forum?

So amputation may be a good thing or not depending upon circumstances, but since when is it cool for a baby to be born with something weird like dystrophic epidermolysis bullosa or hydrocephalus or anencephaly? Born with not much to look forward to but a lifetime of sometimes excruciating pain? Since when is crap like that necessary?
"Well, god works in mysterious ways". No shyte, Sherlock.
If the sunnuvabitch exists, it's easier to think it is a sadistic, nasty piece of work, not worthy of praise of any sort.

I would see if there are more birth defects in the neighborhood. I hear DU shows way down the line from initial exposure. I'm sure that isn't the only one. As for what can God do, He writes a name in the Book of life at conception rather than separation from the mother so they become as entitled to rewards as Moses is.

In my experience, AG, all amputation is traumatic, whether accidental or intentional (medical to preserve a life). An individual who experiences amputation may be subject to profound spiritual and physical challenges and adaptations that can span a lifetime. There are some positives, however. The recovery process puts those with amputations in relationship with some of the most compassionate and competent rehabilitation personnel on the planet. Those who experience amputation may gain personal coping resources (strategies, skills and support people) that they might otherwise never acquire in life apart from the amputation event.

From an eternal perspective, amputation is carnal and temporary. It does not impact eternity. That is why Jesus spoke as He did: "If your right eye causes you to stumble, gouge it out and throw it away. It is better for you to lose one part of your body than for your whole body to be thrown into hell." (Matthew 5:29; 18:9 NIV) Obviously, Jesus is speaking metaphorically here and the context is not physical, but spiritual. (Nonetheless, I fully expect some who would otherwise insist that the Bible is complete metaphor to object and declare that this statement by Jesus is literal.) But the perspective stands. Physical disability does not determine standing with God, now or in eternity.

Who is to blame for healthy people?

There are no 'healthy people' Name one that is older than 120 years?
Considering what is the cause of most injuries perhaps we should be trying to prevent the injuries from happening rather than putting it on God that he should heal them before the time. The text below is the beginning, oddly enough the first 'contract' made is for 7 years followed by one for 7 months. I don't hear too much about those events and how that would work.

Eze:39:25-29:
Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD;
Now will I bring again the captivity of Jacob,
and have mercy upon the whole house of Israel,
and will be jealous for my holy name;
After that they have borne their shame,
and all their trespasses whereby they have trespassed against me,
when they dwelt safely in their land,
and none made them afraid.
When I have brought them again from the people,
and gathered them out of their enemies' lands,
and am sanctified in them in the sight of many nations;
Then shall they know that I am the LORD their God,
which cause them to be led into captivity among the heathen:
but I have gathered them unto their own land,
and have left none of them any more there.

Neither will I hide my face any more from them:
for I have poured out my spirit upon the house of Israel,
saith the Lord GOD.

Eze:37:21-28:
And say unto them,
Thus saith the Lord GOD;
Behold,
I will take the children of Israel from among the heathen,
whither they be gone,
and will gather them on every side,
and bring them into their own land:
And I will make them one nation in the land upon the mountains of Israel;
and one king shall be king to them all:
and they shall be no more two nations,
neither shall they be divided into two kingdoms any more at all:
Neither shall they defile themselves any more with their idols,
nor with their detestable things,
nor with any of their transgressions:
but I will save them out of all their dwellingplaces,
wherein they have sinned,
and will cleanse them:
so shall they be my people,
and I will be their God.
And David my servant shall be king over them;
and they all shall have one shepherd:
they shall also walk in my judgments,
and observe my statutes,
and do them.
And they shall dwell in the land that I have given unto Jacob my servant,
wherein your fathers have dwelt;
and they shall dwell therein,
even they,
and their children,
and their children's children for ever:
and my servant David shall be their prince for ever.
Moreover I will make a covenant of peace with them;
it shall be an everlasting covenant with them:
and I will place them,
and multiply them,
and will set my sanctuary in the midst of them for evermore.
My tabernacle also shall be with them:
yea,
I will be their God, and they shall be my people.
And the heathen shall know that I the LORD do sanctify Israel,
when my sanctuary shall be in the midst of them for evermore.

Jer:31:7-11:
For thus saith the LORD;
Sing with gladness for Jacob,
and shout among the chief of the nations: publish ye,
praise ye,
and say,
O LORD,
save thy people,
the remnant of Israel.
Behold,
I will bring them from the north country,
and gather them from the coasts of the earth,

and with them the blind and the lame,
the woman with child and her that travaileth with child together:
a great company shall return thither.
They shall come with weeping,
and with supplications will I lead them:
I will cause them to walk by the rivers of waters in a straight way,
wherein they shall not stumble:
for I am a father to Israel,
and Ephraim is my firstborn.

Hear the word of the LORD,
O ye nations,
and declare it in the isles afar off,
and say,
He that scattered Israel will gather him,
and keep him,
as a shepherd doth his flock.
For the LORD hath redeemed Jacob,
and ransomed him from the hand of him that was stronger than he.

Eze:47:12:
And by the river upon the bank thereof,
on this side and on that side,
shall grow all trees for meat,
whose leaf shall not fade,
neither shall the fruit thereof be consumed:
it shall bring forth new fruit according to his months,
because their waters they issued out of the sanctuary:
and the fruit thereof shall be for meat,
and the leaf thereof for medicine.
Eze:47:13:
Thus saith the Lord GOD;
This shall be the border,
whereby ye shall inherit the land according to the twelve tribes of Israel:
Joseph shall have two portions.

Blessed are the poor in body is where they would fit in. It could cover a multitude of sins that would not be forgiven if the person had a 'healthy body with all it parts present and working. The order given might be the order that they appear in at the Great White Throne, they are healed and then they are witnesses to the healing of a great many people before that day ends. Would that be considered a 'greater reward'? (granted the last ones on the list are already perfected during the 1,000 years so God greets them as such)

M't:5:3:
Blessed are the poor in spirit:
for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

Whatever that means.
Your post covered birth defects, most are caused by man ****ing around with the local environment rather that that sort of birth being 'the hand of God' at work.
The rest just mentioned that God will fix all the defects at the same time he fixes all of mine and all of yours.

You born yesterday christians are something else.
Somebody should have thought up the 'read along' method 100's of years ago, there would be much less confusion about the Bible these days.
Even you can't pretend it isn't clear on the first read. (granted some definitions will alter it so some degree)
