However, I think Cliffy's right. You shouldn't get a job as a soldier just to feed the fascist industrial machine.

In most of wars, soldiers are either compelled to fighting, or they seek after money.
But most of soldiers cheat themselves by imagining some other purposes while in fact they know the war is only the transgression and violence.
The global peace will not settle until the Paraclete (or the Mahdi) (or Elia of the Last Days) will come.

Not only is war bad for civilians, it is also bad for the economy and makes us poor. The oligarchs are the only ones who benefit.
If there was no WW1 and the treaty of Versailles, Hitler would never have come to power. Britain and the rest of Europe are to blame for the rise of the Nazis.
Without the last few wars it is highly unlikely the freeloaders would be getting all their free goodies and the right to bitch about how much they get.
