I don't think he is a hero either, but I also don't think he deserves to be insulted soo much and I think he paid his dues by now. I know what it's like being shat upon because I'm on disability benefits at the moment and apparently a "parasite" and some people can't seem to realize that a developmental disability is as valid as a physical one, the visible vs invisible thing again.
I think there's some people out there who just feel a need to sht on someone more than they deserve or paint someone as something they are not, because it makes them feel better somehow.
Having said that,
What I know about the Khadar case is that, his confession is questioanble and no one knows for sure whether he did anything or not. Also, he was brainwashed and was a kid, so I wouldn't hold him fully responsible for his actions at that point in time.
