Well Detroit is out for the season! Who'da thunk it?

yeah, i watched the game, no goals till well into the 3rd period, then tampa protected thAt
puck, and detroit had trouble keeping possession, then finally the empty netter.

tampa bay were the higher ranked team all year, they were the team expected to move on,
but detroit Are fiesty And determined and fought hard, but just couldn't put them away. stamkos didn't even score a goal in this series, and tampa won anyway,
that is surprising.

next series starts tomorrow, thursday.

the last 20 games calgary played in anaheim were losses, but this calgary team is a better team than that
one, so we'll see, maybe things will change.

i'm cheering for calgary in this series.

so far this game looks like men against boys, but one never knows, lots of gAmes left, and a whole
period, so calgary might figure something out.

didn't bother me at all when furlin was knocked silly behind the net, i wished one of the canucks
had of done that to him, as he was charging all over the ice, hitting everyone very hard, and some
of the hits was definitely charging, so thanks to anaheim for giving him what he deserved in our games.

we'll see hour the 3rd period goes.

Could be a short series, Talloola!

well, the flames definitely need a different strategy, not sure what that would be, maybe they could

all grow another 3 inches and gain about 30 lbs, could help.

hiller is anaheim's ex goalie, so they know him well, didn't take them long to chase him out of the net.

anyway most of the flames are young, this will be good experience for next year.

anaheim have been on a mission this year, some of their super stars are getting a bit older, now is

the time, and they are very hungry to win, and they have the talent, and it all shows quite clearly.

minnesota/chicago series starts tomorrow, should be a great series, two very
talented teams, if anaheim wins this series, they won't have it so easy with
whichever team they play from that series.

i didn't see much of the ranger/washington game, i watched the blue jays, just
checked in on that game from time to time, tough loss for rangers with only
seconds left in the game.

oh oh, calgary just scored their first goal.

i think the final score was 6-1

Red Wings fan Lena Sinishtaj accused of serious arson offence during Game 7 at Amalie Arena
Detroit-area woman allegedly attempted to set massive Lightning flag ablaze before decisive game

Weird things happen in Florida.
But this bizarre incident at Amalie Arena can't be blamed on local residents.
As the Tampa Bay Lightning hosted the Detroit Red Wings Wednesday night for a chance to advance to the Eastern Conference semifinals, the Game 7 crowd passed a massive Lightning flag around the arena.
That's when a Detroit-area woman – no doubt a Wings fan – allegedly held up a lighter in an attempt to set fire to the big banner as it passed over close to 200 people.
She caused a small burn on the flag, but didn't manage to set the entire thing ablaze, according to Tampa cops.
Lena Sinishtaj, 35, was taken into custody on a charge of first-degree arson of an occupied structure, the Tampa Tribune reported Thursday morning.
The Bolts later burned the Wings 2-0 to claim a decisive Game 7 win.
They'll meet the Montreal Canadiens in the second round.
The accused reportedly controls this Twitter account
Going to Tampa, because I can...

the overtime goal was offside. :(

yes it was, but i must add that they had lots of time to regain possession and
get the puck out, but they didn't, so just another mistake by officials, could
have been cancelled out but wasn't, t. bay kept the puck in montreal's end
long enough till they finally scored.

tampa bay vs montreal- 12:00 pac. time

minnesota vs chicago - 5:30

calgary vs anaheim - 7:00

tampa bay def. montreal - 6-2, looks like price couldn't win it for his team, they had to help him,
obviously they didn't do a very good job.

chicago def. minnesota - 4-1, chicAgo look very good, very confident, very polished.

anaheim def. calgary 3-0 - closer game tonight, not in the looks of the game,
only the score, second period calgary was better, but anaheim were slackers,
came to play again in the 3rd. anaheim are a great talented team, but they
have to watch for that 'lazy' look at times, a bit of that tonight.

Flames just pushed Ducks into O.T.

yep, just waiting for OT to start.

flames definitely feel better in their own building, and they gradually pushed the game into a tie to
force overtime.

seems the puck did go over the goalline earlier on, one could easily see the white between puck and
goal line, but they did not count it, calgary would have tied the gAme then.

anaheim are not comfortable having to play 'so' fast, and flames have ramped their game up to that
speed we remember in canucks series.

the sea of red is definitely a factor for this team.
