... looks just like Toronto during the G-20 with one significant difference. This looting in Baltimore is being done by a fed-up, disenfranchised underclass who don't give a damn, anymore. The rioters in Toronto were mostly spoiled, rich, self-important, upper-middle class "anarchists" who believe in little but their own narrow cult vision.

almost right...I think the looting and rioting is being done by some thugs who jazzed up kids who are fed-up, disenfranchised underclass...but they do give a damn and they want change...the thing is they don't know how to be heard

Ray is staying in Baltimore, not going to Chicago for the NFL draft (he's an analyst for ESPN now).
The governor has moved to Baltimore (from the state capital, Annapolis), says he'll stay until the situation settles down. Ex-governor and Presidential candidate (almost) O'Malley is flying back from Europe. But I think the most important thing among the great and the good is that the Ravens are converging on the city.
I agree that it has to come from the black community, lots of these kids are lost and have little male leadership, that's how they end up in gangs.
It is fabulous that these guys are going to step in and step it up. That's what real men do. They act. So happy to hear that it is going to happen.
The whole city needs healing. I am hoping too that they are going to rebuild that senior's building that was burned and help those who have lost their whole business and have nothing left.
The governor handled himself well and gives a sense of steady control. I was happy to see that along with that General speaking about how this is their community and the National Guard is there to help.
It was dicey there for a while with the crowd following those cops but then when that kid had a seizure everything went in another direction and things were relatively calm.
I like this Van Jones speaking about how there is a rebellion against the rebellion and people are taking back their streets and community.
I think tonight is going to be okay.
