No:.... working for the sake of money is the worst ****ing idea ever. It makes us easily exploitable when we need to work to live, it gives us little options outside of drudgery. Depression , anxiety, suicide, all rampant in society and working out of necessity for money is the main reason.

That ruins any self respect a person had.

If work cause you depression, anxiety and thoughts of suicide - then you are totally f**ked. Most people seem to be able to handle working for money. Maybe some people do find self respect in being a bum and a burden, I for one won't be encouraging them. :)

Why should I work to feed you? What do you have to give me that I need?

The GoreOCDs of the world bring absolutely nothing to the table. They can't innovate, can't create and believe the world owes them a living. They eventually get left behind by every society they infect complaining the entire time about how unfair life is.

Northern Ontario,
This is something that must be implemented. A basic income would be a vaccine for the rampant poverty and crime so entrenched in our society today. We also need to confront the issue high unemployment as jobs become more and more obsolete with every technological advance. Here is a fact - there are not jobs for everyone! How would you remedy an issue of this magnitude? With a basic income.

it's not the government's land , what are you an idiot. wealthy owners steal land and have an armed force to protect that land. no one created land.

Have you ever had so much as a glimpse of reality?

Panhandle harder.

Too much work. The government is supposed to provide.

Problem is that you are just plain lazy and expect everyone else to carry your sorry azz around. The time is soon coming when lazy freeloaders like you will be left to starve or get a job.

How did humans survive without money?, before currencies had been invented?
Did They actually have to use intelligence and work to keep themselves alive?

How did they ever manage that? ;)

We better start figuring it out soon before everything becomes automatically produced and everyone is out of a job ;)
