I have 35000 this fall. Is that enough to offset a shuttle launch? Why can't I trade them for airline tickets to Botswana?

Target the idiots through crowd funding... Start by marketing it among the bloggers at the Greenpeace and Sierra Club websites
Will I have to hide the use of herbicide and fertilizer required to hit 1.2 tonnes of CO2 per acre? Without them I'd only have 2500 tonnes sequestered per crop year.

Well you do realize what this means right? Organic producers are bad for the environment compared to us super croppers. Really bad when you get right down to it.

Petros, you've gone over to the Dark Side of the Force. Been bitten by a rabid weasel?

There is no Dark side when you carry your own light wherever you may travel.

There nothing to AGW, it is pure fiction, a fraud. A much greater risk exists to society from the 'solutions' of a nonexistent problem.... that could put billions into famine and destroy the economies of the world. That is just what the inner 'priestly' sanctum of the radical environmentalist cult that is bamboozling the world with this nonsense wants.. with the imbecilic support of dumb little monetarist twits in Central Banks like Carney and the Bank of England.

Famine? Who have food out the wazoo and the capability to do 5X more in a heartbeat. Food is really damn low on the list of worries.

Part of the plan of the AGW is to deconstruct agriculture.. in livestock and grains on the trumped up charge they contribute methane or carbons to the environment. And yes, their plan is to limit the capacity of the earht to feed its population.. as a part of plan to reduce the human pestilance on a pristine eco-utopia.

Coldstream, the Pope is an environmentalist and less of a lackey to capitalism than the no-knowers! I'll pray for your benighted soul and Petros's, too.

Modern grain farming locks away 1.2 tonnes of CO2 an acre. That is after all carbon inputs to grow, distribute, and fart out after consumer consumption.

No till, precise fertilizer/herbicide ag production can offset all fossil fuel consumption alone and feed 30Billion people.

Benedict XVI and many top prelates saw the undisclosed motives and fabricated science behind AGW.

I really don't know what Francis is proposing, but his Pontificate has been particularly confused, uninspired and meandering one.

It happens from time to time, but the two millennium momentum of the Church always straigtens its course over time.

Isn't it against doctrine and dogma to disagree with your grand high poobah?

Only when he speak 'ex-cathedra' (from the Chair) is he deemed to be infallible. Even that is a relatively new device.. imposed by Pius IX on the Church in the 19th Century... and not accepted by many then or now.

In any case it is only used in cases to put to rest internal disputes on arcane doctrine. I believe that last time it was used was to pomulgate the dogma of the Assumption of Mary by Pius XII in the 1950s.

If Francis supports the psuedo science of AGW then he is dead wrong. But i really have no sense as to what his Pontificate is all about. I do sense many orthodox prelates think his election was a mistake.

That is what has the insurance industry and hence the big banks worried. Dealing with all the false claims is going to be expensive. Just having to contemplate dealing with all the loons will cause them to raise rates.

You, my schismatic friend, are sounding more Protestant every day.
