Interesting that you propose to rebut your own words

Stop being so silly. They were your words. I even quoted them. Are you really that silly that I need to explain how the quote system works. You really should try and work with me. I can help you.

Most provincial employees aren't PC supporters... Ergo, your statement is entirely without merit

That would depend on the province. Here in Alberta, I would gather that most do (if the provincial employees I know are any indication). Of course, the provincial PCs here are pretty socialist in their approach, hence the rise of The Wild Rose Party.

(That's a rebuttal of your silly statement in case you missed it)

So instead of whining about the cons perhaps you could inform us about how perfect the libs were? Seems a lot of Canadians disagreed with you, or are you one of those persons who insists that it was a minority that elected the cons?
37% of the voters voted for the Cons. You have a problem with math? Of course only a minority elected the Cons.

Ummm, 63% didn't vote for the Cons. There is something fundamentally wrong with a system that gives a majority of seats to a party that only gets 37% of the vote. Our system is broken. We need a new one.

But no ONE party got 63% of the vote. And actually, 50% or so people didn't even bother to vote. Therefore, about 1/2 of Canada wants no government or doesn't care. So if we assume that they don't care, That mean's 37% of 50% want Conservatives and 50% don't care, that means 68.5% of Canadians want the Tories or don't care. A healthy majority.

The system is not perfect but nobody was complaining when the Lieberals weasled into power in the 90s with 40% of the vote.

Honestly if it could be proved beyond a shadow of a doubt that a person did the crime then I'd rather have them put to death and save us the cash of catering to their sorry *** the rest of their lives.

Actually they can pretty much do that now with D.N.A. However there is still a gap to fill, so I'd want to see other corroborating evidence or proof he/she has committed another heinous crime. Then f**k em- deep six them!

Is that another one of you're silly statements you think I should rebut?

Some fancy foot work there buddy. I complained, as did many others when the Libs got a majority with a minority of the vote. If anybody can come up with a big enough stick of dynamite to get the 50% non voters off the collective butts to vote, I would help them light the fuse. I'm hoping enough people wake up to Harpo's draconian policies before that prick gets another majority and completely hoops this country.

I might be upset by your remark if you hadn't proved beyond a shadow of a doubt that there isn't anything between your ears to worry about.

I've already said that I shouldn't try and rebut silly stuff. You really should post some not so silly stuff if you want me to rebut what you're saying. I think if you work really really hard you just might be able to do it

Whatever bud, it's your choice.

If you think that you 'shouldn't', then I agree... Plus, the fact that you can't will spare you the embarrassment and discomfort when the realization strikes home
