Saskatchewan is the belle of the ball when it comes to mining operations, according to The Fraser Institute.

Its recent mining survey of 122 jurisdictions around the world found that Saskatchewan is the most-popular place in Canada for mining operations, and the second-most-popular place in the world for mining operations behind Finland.

The survey said it's because of Saskatchewan's abundance of minerals, and provincial government's approach to mining practices.

"The province offers a competitive taxation regime, good scientific support, efficient permitting procedures and clarity around land claims. That's what miners look for," Kenneth Green, the Fraser Institute's senior director of energy and natural resources and director of the Survey of Mining Companies, said in a news release.

Are you high? Name one open pit on farmland. Just one. Can you? You knew SK is half boreal forest and 1/3 Canadian shield didn't you?

BTW, the nearly half (46%) of SK miners are injuns.

According to your previous claims it was because your wife's family gave you a farm. Those of us in the know however, understand that it had more to do with getting punted off AISH and farm labourer being the only realistic option for you. But hey, you keep keepin up appearances.

Just watched Brad Wall on Power Play talking about the bamster's veto of the pipeline. Can't help but think that Brad and his party are one of the reasons why things are so rosy in good old Saskatchewan, petros. Does my heart good to hear that Saskatchewan is doing well.

There's a reason for that, Petros. B.C.'s climate is a "drawing card" for layabouts and the few that do get motivated just save it to stir up sh*t at protests!:)
