Because you continue to provoke offensively.

You're just hypersensitive.

Like blackie, anyone that supports his view.

John Keegan was the foremost military historian of his era. Oh yeah and he was British.

Oh I don't know if you really want to go there. As far as glorifying history and lionizing historical persons the US pretty much takes the cake. You won't find the mythologies around Sir John A McDonald that you do around Thomas Edison and George Washington. That's OK, though. The US does have a remarkable history. Canada's is boring in comparison. Like watching paint dry.

Oh but I will agree with you, there are many historical myths abound in every culture, I'm not sure why you might think I am not aware or not ready to admit to it. Correct if I am wrong but it was you that opened up that can of worms.

The War of 1812 was, like all conflicts, a complex affair with no easy answers.

Not really, it's pretty cut and dry, but I will admit to this, the British, the Americans and the Canadians are all in agreement about one thing, they all think they won.

It's main purpose, for Canadians, is to aggravate those credulous Americans who are unfortunate victims of an overly-nationalistic educaiton system.

If teaching that ridiculous tune is mandatory 3rd grade reading, I would suggest you look deep within yourself.

Personally I like English hisotry. Lots of blood and guts.

So, do I.

Um....yeah. You're either really reaching or really, really dense.

My bad for talking to you in the first place. See ya junior.

He's really dense my dear, why you even bother I have no idea. Can we get back to the maple syrup s'il vous plait?

No, he's right. "sons of liberty" (what a fu cking joke) has trolled Canadians for YEARS. It's what he does. Open your fu cking eyes.

You're hatred is misguided, it's evident it's Canada you despise.

There's a surprise. Deflection. Can't be you, it's gotta be me. lol.

That wasn't a deflection, that was a sincere comment. You love your country but you hate what it isn't, so many of you have been indoctrinated to blame someone else about your woes. An example would be, you rely on the U.S. to the tune of 86% to sell your products and services because your nonsensical protection policies prohibit you from selling to each other across Provincial lines, so when minor issues come up and they always do with trade, you blame Americans. That deflects the real problem, your non cohesiveness as a country. You are the architects of your own hatred, you have just been told it isn't so. It's pretty common with countries that are overshadowed by their bigger neighbors. Austria and Germany, Australia and New Zealand etc....

Looks like our one trick pony has had enough laughing at his expense. Lol.

Now this is a perfect example of deflection.

Someone has to keep you honest to force you to make a little effort in continuing this conversation.

You can't simply go on saying the same thing over and over and expect us to take you seriously. As much as you would love that.

At least in this last post you added new interesting elements.

I'd argue that this is not indoctrination but a simple human imperfection. I'm sure you suffer from this as well. It's not induced it's a natural phenomenon.

Nationalism &
Marketing takes full advantage of this human flaw.

All I did was start a thread regarding the military, it's been deflected to something else, not by me.

It's cultural indoctrination in my opinion, supported by politicians to further their agendas. The main reason the EU didn't strike a free trade agreement with Canada is because they are super protective, even more than Canadians, you've met your match. Oh yes and of course everyone is prone to it, we get it also, no denying that.

So you are accusing us of being humans?
Our human behaviour is frustrating you?

Lol, you're kidding right? Arrogance is human behavior, but as you well know, we get s hit on for that all the time. Tell me, are you accusing us of being human?

Well this is what it all comes down too isn't it?
We have striped it down to its bare bones.

Now that we can admit it. We can stop fighting,
and proceed to fixing it.

I'll call Kathleen tonight. I'm sure Steven will love
To here from her to talk about this issue.

And by-the-way, I'd like to apologize on behalf of all Canadians for acting like humans.

Are you going to accuse me of being too accommodating again now?

Leaving Russia have to take care of Europe would teach her not to mess around with Canada, then we could stop pulling things that don't need moving in the first place.

I missed it, what did we accidentally do?

We acted like humans again >.< We are guilty of wishful thinking.

He blames us for whining about the United States, about a situation caused by are own human stupidity that directly benefits the United States.

He's being a honest neighbour

Look how we are helping to unify Russia and the EU. They may both insist the (NATO) war games take place in North America for the next 100 years considering all their (US inspired) games turn out like 9/11. A siege against the place that has the cooking gas isn't the best move when all you have is flour and water isn't going to turn out well.

IF the u.s. is not American, it is because of traitors like yourself. You and your kind are a cancer, something to be excised any way possible.

Or perhaps exorcised!:)

Everyone open up their Canada Kits and then meet by the tree in Toronto... you may now eat the sandwich provided in the kit.

Yes, it is interesting. Actually I've been over to the wiki "Talk" page on the War of 1812 and all it is is 5 years of Candians and Americans arguing who won the war. Of course, neither side has any interest aparet from historical accuracy (/sarcasm) and it's complete coincidence that virtually every Canadian says Canada won and every American says America won. The Brits really can't be bothered for the most part.

Many interests in the EU are activly entertaining just this move you mention. All of them know any trade deal signed with Uncle Sham will mean total capitulation to American facism. The Eurasian alternative is the only viable one for Europe. A deal with wall street is a deal with absolute disaster.
