I am inclined to agree that the Israelis seem to thrive on the violent acts of their occupied hosts. Perhaps I'm wrong, but it seemed to me that each time the US would kick start another round of peace talks with the two groups, Israel would announce the opening of a new settlement in the occupied territory. Which of course would more or less, kill the talks. Certainly little has come from all of these talks.

What I don't agree with is this religious nonsense. Lets be clear, Israel is not a Jewish state. That's impossible. Last I looked, a state, doesn't eat, crap, sleep, laugh, touch etc., since its only a legal entity, so I'm not sure how something that is creation of legal corporate imagination could believe in god, in any god. No, what is at play here is simply an age old act of invasion, domination and eventual elimination of the current tenants for nothing more than to further the aggressors' power and resources. Been done a thousand times, and likely will be done another thousand. The apparent reality here is, the Israelis are more powerful than the folk they are going to vanquish, too bad for the Palistinians, but seemingly, that's life on plant Earth.

That religious nonsense you refer to is integral to both parties. Why am I surprised you give it no weight.
Other countries have declared themselves as Islamic, why not Israel?

Japan is 98.5 Japanese- Why is that? Due to stringent laws to preclude immigration.

Oh, sure, as a tool, religion has a lot to do with motivating each side, but it serves only as a tool, and a mask, to conceal what is happening here, Israel wants all the land for itself, and thats the simple gist of it. A few rockets are fired from Gaza, a place under siege for 7 years, and Israel responds by leveling the place killing over a thousand? Religion has nothing do with it. And if it does, then it must have been based upon a bible that Steve King wrote.

The Jews knew their place. About the only way of looking at it.
Same applied in various degrees in other Islamic countries.

So you would rather disregard that the places Jews earned by virtue of their birth in the ancient eastern civilizations where it was common and mutual practice to respect the others in well established civil societies. Instead you prefer the modern myth of universal Jewish persecution without regard to documented long cherished periods of peace among the various peoples of differing religion. Hisstory does not support your think in this. There are still many enclaves of Jews throughout the middle east and Africa that have refused for fifty years to move to Israel. The destruction of Iraqs Jewish people and those others will shock you, the modern persecutors of those same ancient Jewish people will surprise then.

Druze Israeli Policeman Who Killed Terrorist Dies of His Wounds, Leaves Behind 7-Month-Old Daughter

Jerusalem synagogue attack. Israel Police officer Zidan Sayif. Photo: Family.
Druze Israeli Police officer Zidan Sayif, 27, died of his wounds late Tuesday, hours after a terror attack at a Jerusalem synagogue.
Family and friends at his bedside said they were proud he was the first on the scene to end the terrorist slaughter, Israel’s NRG News reported earlier in the day.
Two Palestinian terrorists entered the Kehilat Bnei Torah synagogue on Shimon Agassi St. in the city’s religious Har Nof neighborhood at about 07:00 a.m., opened fire with a weapon and struck worshipers with a meat cleaver and knives.
Zidan and another police officer were able to shoot and kill the assailants shortly after the attack on the religious complex, located at the western edge of the capital.
His family – a clan from the western Galilee village of Yanuh-Jatt said they are filled with pride for their heroic relative who helped stop the carnage which killed four rabbis, and wounded eight other worshipers…

BBC News Host Demands Israeli Minister Hide Photo of Worshiper Slain in Terror Massacre

A victim of the Jerusalem synagogue terror attack lies wrapped in a prayer shawl and tefillin. Photo: Twitter.
A BBC News presenter censored Israeli Economy Minister, Naftali Bennett, during a live interview on Tuesday when he held up a photo of a victim of Tuesday’s mass terror attack at a Jerusalem synagogue.
At least four Jewish worshipers were killed, and at least four are in critical or serious condition, in the wake of the attack at the Kehilat Yaakov synagogue in the capital’s Har Nof neighborhood.
Israeli Police said two Arab residents of the city Jabal Mukabar neighborhood entered at about 07:00 a.m., and then opened fire with weapons and struck worshipers with a meat cleaver and knives.
Indicting the Palestinian Authority (PA) for ongoing incitement leading up to the attack, Bennett charged that PA President Mahmoud Abbas, “…himself, incites, tells the the Arabs, ‘take arms, fight the Jews…’” and then held up a photo of a victim, laying dead on the floor of the synagogue, still wrapped in his prayer shawl and leather straps of his phylacteries (see photo).
The presenter immediately broke in, however saying, “…sorry, we don’t want to actually see that picture… please take that down.”
Bennett continued holding up the photo, saying, “this individual came this morning to pray, just like many Muslims, many Jews, came to pray this morning.
“The Muslims came home safe, but four Jews will never come home again,” Bennett asserted, over the protestations of the host…

Backlash for recent additions to E Jerusalem "settlers".

Bull****.

Provocation...............using the excuse od the Al Asqua Mosque being "polluted" by Jews.

How many Jews were allowed to visit the Wailing Wall when Jerusalem was under Jordanian control?

If Israel were like the Muslims, they would blow the Al Asqua mosque to smithereens.

No it's not bullsh-t. Nutlessyahud approved a whole whack more settler homes in EJ just the other day. If he is out to keep having people get offed he's doing an amazing job.

Israel mulls military operation, approves new settlements in E. Jerusalem | Middle East | Worldbulletin News

Expect more dead Israelis. More settlements approved today. What great idea.

Israel's planning and construction committee in Jerusalem approved construction of the new housing units in the Jewish-only Har Homa and Ramot settlements, the latter of which lies beyond the Green Line, according to Israeli Channel 7.
According to the broadcaster, 50 settlement units will be built in the Har Homa settlement, while 28 units will be built in the Ramot settlement, both of which are located in southern Jerusalem.
Israeli media reports have said the plan is part of a larger project that aims to build 156 units in the two settlements.
Last month, the same committee approved construction of 200 settlement units – of a planned 600 – in the Ramot Settlement.
Also last month, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu ordered construction of a further 1,060 Jewish-only housing units in East Jerusalem

$40B deficit but there is money for settlements outside of Israel.
